“Candle Croft was lovely. Spacious and large garden for the dogs to run around.
Unfortunately as an older person, having to get up in the middle of the night and walk downstairs to use the loo, wasn't what I was expecting to have to do. There was a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs from going up. However we had to make a makeshift barrier to stop the dogs from going into the living area at night time,as there wasn't a door in between the kitchen and the living area. One last thing according to health and safety, there should be a space between the toilet and the kitchen.”
“Gorgeous house cleaned to a high standard, plenty of rooms all with adequate privacy in a lovely town. Instructions prior to arrival and on arrival were brilliant. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anymore. Perfect for a group of friends, we have already planned to return!”
“We loved our stay at the cottage. The location is excellent. The cottage is very well equipped.
There was ample logs and kindling. Perhaps placemats/ a few more coasters would be ideal. The bedding in the main bedroom was torn and could do with being replaced.
The duck food and velvetiser were nice touches.
The door latch had come off the bunk room.
We would definitely stay again.”
“Had a wonderful stay at Blacksmith's Cottage. Place was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need to make for an enjoyable stay.

“We chose our latest ‘cottage’ as it was close to the attractions we wanted to see. We knew it was just a modern one bedroomed bungalow but what was a negative, although not the fault of the owner, is the small close it was in was scruffy with untended gardens and rubbish eg, a mattress thrown on the path close to the bungalow.”
“Cleanliness was not great but satisfactory. Beautiful location and the person looking after the property was super quick and helpful when the TV was broken.”
“Another fabulous week at Josie! We couldn’t control the weather but the property is so characterful and cosy it was always a treat to get back to. As ever all the important bits are there plus more, it’s as if the owners know what you’ll need! A stones throw to the beach and pub if you don’t want to drive anywhere.
