“We have used Sykes a few times now and only once have we been disappointed. Our latest visit to The Granary cottage was great. It's in a lovely spot and considering it's on a farm very quiet.”

“Irresponsible Sykes service desk.
Information received upfront is great. However when we changed from one cottage rented from Sykes in our first week to another cottage in a different area the next week, the owner who was said to contact us before our arrival did not contact us. When I tried to get in touch with Sykes service desk while traveling to the avond location on a normal Friday around 10:00 am and again at 2:00 PM I was put on waiting twice for over 10 and 13 minutes after which I gave up. Fortunately the friendly neighbors at the second location managed to contact the house caretaker who provided the code to the key lock. It it was for Sykes we might have waited for hours to get in the cottage or even worse.”

“Little gem of a place but reluctant to leave a fabulous review as lots more people might book it!! Right on the beach with all you need for a battery recharging break. Lots to watch on the Solent in inclement weather and a great, friendly cafe at the other end of the Boat House Block. We’ve been back for most of the past 15 years and have already booked our next stay. Need we say more??”
“Really enjoyed our stay at The Croft. The cottage is in a great location, and is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden has a lovely patio and is secure for dogs, and it was very clean. We hope to stay again soon!”
“Kate’s cottage is beautiful, and the milk and cake left were a lovely touch. Bourton on the water is a stunning little village, but beware it is heaving at the weekends.

“The cottage is in a beautiful position. It has all the amenities and is really well kept. The wood burner was lovely and the addition of a downstairs toilet serving the downstairs bedroom was fantastic. Owners were very thoughtful and welcoming.”
“Bridge Howe did not dissapoint. The house is perfect for 3 couples, very comfortable and the garden lovely to sit in. A good location for walks from the front door and plenty of places within walking distance to eat from.”
