“The Cairn is a perfect base for break in the Boat of Garten area. It is cosy and is excellent for 2-3 people looking for a well furnished cottage with everything you need for a break. Prefect for exploring the area such as Loch Garten and the RSPB Osprey site, cycling through to Aviemore and beyond off the road and also popping up to Landmark at Carrbridge. Enjoy a meal at the Boat Hotel or Anderson’s restaurant a few steps from the door. There’s also the Osprey cafe for a coffee or lunch with friendly staff and a really well-stocked shop next door to

“Recently stayed in a gorgeous cottage in the valley at Sandsend, which was so cosy. Stayed at a lovely cottage in the Lakes in March this year which was lovely too. Always book through Sykes, I haven’t been disappointed with any properties to date.”
“Lovely stay. Fantastic cottage lovely and cosy and clean! Shower was great. Everything you could possibly need. Staff were so nice. The chance to ride on the trains was fantastic. Had a lovely break. It was so peaceful at night.”
“Good accomodation for two people plus a dog. Well located for a walk into Port Isaac. You have to use a grass verge for a couple of hundred yards which might be a problem in very wet weather or for those with mobility issues but, then again, Port Isaac is in itself a challenge to the less mobile. Children will love the little enclosure with the various farm animals.”
“Hendre is a fantastic cottage in a good quiet location. The cottage is well stocked and clean. The Owners are super friendly and helpful.

The friendliest people I’ve ever spoken to . It was a surprise for the girlfriend a she cried at how beautiful this was . The view from the cabin is 100x better than the photo . It’s breath taking . Lovely hot tub . Amazing bed . Sofa comfy a the tv blew my mind away …

“Ideal location close ro harbour and town centre, no need to use the car. Lovely walks close by, particularly to Nothe Fort. Cosy well equipped cottage and lovely surprise little hamper of treats on arrival which was very welcome. Would definitely visit again and recommend this cottage.”

Myself and 2 friends couldn't have been happier , the whole cottage was spacious and so thoughtfully decorated ,we do so hope to return and worth the journey in storm Amy !

“The property was lovely, clean,warm and everything you would need.but the garden stated ENCLOSED which it wasn't so our 2 dogs spent the whole week on leads. We picked the cottage for it's enclosed garden,so we were very disappointed and sorry to say we won't return.”
