“Overall a very very nice stay, however there are a few points that we need to make where we believe improvements could be made.
1. The seating in the lounge needs more thought as if there were six people staying there wouldn't be enough for everyone.
2. One of the seats in the lounge is not very comfortable.
3. There is no large mirror for doing makeup etc.
4. A dressing table could be placed near the window in the ensuite bedroom.
Even though I have pointed out the negatives of the property we felt that it was in a good location to explore the surrounding areas. It is possible to walk into the centre within 20 minutes and I can recommend the Ludlow brewery (near the train station). We ate out once at the Squirrel pub and if we'd not downloaded a 40% discount we would have been extremely disappointed.
Overall a decent place to stay.”
“The actual booking our cottage went fine on the website, money went through etc..until the next day when our booking was cancelled as the owners couldn't accommodate us with no explanation at all. The website had allowed us to book Weds to Weds as it was out of season and clearly said bookings from April 1st until 31st Oct sat to sat only..so we assumed that was fine! Apparently not..e mail arrived cancelling it. A phonecall rather than an email could have cleared it up in minutes! Tried WhatsApp chat..nothing so the next day I rang Sykes up who ammended our booking..explained what had happened etc..until that point it was handled very badly..but thank you to that agent who took the time to explain and make sure everything was sorted.”
