“Ideally located near Bowness. House is lovely. Upstairs bedroom is large with own bath and wc ,all that was missing was a chair were the vase was to compliment the library on the landing. Downstairs front bedroom, medium sized with wc and sink. Rear bedroom has Jack and Jill bathroom with wc,shower and sink. Cupboard in dining room has board games. There is also a utility room with washer and fridge freezer and plenty of cupboards. Also a Summer house in the garden, which we didn't use as it was too cold in March. Our only negative was kitchen utensils,some need upgrading. We've previously used Sykes cottages and would definitely use them again.”
“This was our second visit to Snowdon walf but our first to this apparent it is a lovely apartment spotless and well equipped with fantastic views close to all amenities highly recommend this apartment”
“Everything was fine but the heating was not working. They did supply us with heaters and plenty of logs for the Woodburn. Plenty of utensils for 8 people.”

“Lovely cottage in a peaceful rural spot but close enough to drive to other coastal areas .
Well equipped inside to make it feel like home. If I had to be really picky the only thing I can think of is the entrance to the property is tight.
But all in all we had a lovely time and were extremely lucky with the weather for the time of year.”

Well laid out and spacious accommodation, warm, impeccably clean, with great views over the lake and well tended large gardens .
Situated, approximately 25 minutes drive to Bude, and Holsworthy just ,10 mins away.
Great walks from the back of the property over farm land.
Overall, a fantastic week in a fantastic place

“The cottage was a very nice place to stay, accurately described and comfortable.
Kitchen is well equipped.
Only a couple of things to note.
1. Only one towel per person, we were there for 9 nights and with no laundry facilities it would have been nice to have a second towel available for each person
2. Only one kitchen trash bag provided. 5 people 9 nights. Not ideal
3. Having to put out trash bins for pickup was not something we realized fell on us so it didn't happen. At this price point I don't expect to have to put out the trash.”
“Little Beach house was a perfect bolt hole while we were house hunting in the area recently. It was warm and cosy and the facilities were fine for the 2 of us. I wish I’d had more time to make use of the sauna as I only managed 2 sessions! Very convenient for local eateries, the beach and nearby hotel. Charlestown was a short stroll away.”
“We have used Sykes Cottages a lot in the past. Unfortunately on our most recent booking, communication was very difficult. Nobody answered the phone even after 25 mins. We tried to use the Chat function, but the booking number wasn't recognised. It did eventually get sorted, but took more effort than it should have done.”
“We enjoyed our time at Middle House, which is beautifully appointed. It is in a very good position for town and beach. There were one or two minor problems, like downstairs toilet being difficult to flush and not being able to fix the latch on the front door but it was lovely and light. The TV worked better after we changed the batteries in the remote control.”
“The cottage and location were great. The only reason for not giving a 5 was the layout in the kitchen dining area. The pew was a bit low to sit and eat a meal from The rooms were fabulous with an en suite for each group with their own privacy. The house was really warm and facilities all excellent. Only thing missing was oven gloves!
