“Booking process was easy and satisfied with the property booked. Sykes were good with sending all the information as needed in a timely matter. Only given 3 stars however as when trying to make direct contact with a couple of queries found them unresponsive or difficult to contact.”

“Comfy lounge but slight stains on one of the settees. Both toilet seats didn't fit and kept coming loose. Had to wash some of the pans before using them.These were just small faults and the lodge was very nice overall”
“The apartment was lovely.Very clean, well equipped and the decor was beautiful.The view is fantastic and great to be able to park my car.The only draw back was being woken up at 5am by the neighbour who was very noisy and a very loud TV at midnight Sunday evening.Apart from that, really enjoyed our stay and would return.”

We have stsyed in 15 different properties & never been disapointed. We have stayed in cottages, houses, bungalows & even a static lodge eacg gtmreat in their own right.
I can only say sometimes they dont have a cottage in an area that we would like to stay.”
“Sykes do have a good range of cottages etc, however we had an issue with our booking from 5/6 to 12/06/2026, which we are awaiting to be resolved under reference COR-477772-CF, therefore this is why we gave an average rating. “an excellent well appointed cottage ,comfortable and clean, everything in the kitchen one could possibly need. a small back garden overlooking the channel. and and easy access to a pleasant walk along the seafront, . an excellent holiday , one drawback ,nothing to do with the house , we stopped at the nearest town to get some fish and chips for our evening meal , we had to pay to park in the street, could not see a car park,or any disabled spaces, so cramped I could not get my scooter out. so we gave the town a wide berth ,which was a pity as it looked at interesting little town. one general observation, we have been renting holiday for well over 20 years now, and always stripped the beds as a matter of courtesy , but now its a requirement , and at 85 years old it has became a struggle and a hazzard , as one of us is disabled . a little consideration is needed .”
