“Communications very poor considering price charged for booking fee. Quality of accomodation usually very good. Not informed about fridge/freezer not working and hot tub cold on first evening”
“Lovely place stopped twice now will be back, ideal facility’s ideal location, only down side parking is tight for a larger car, but they do give an alternative off site car park so you can’t do better than that.”
“Four of us and two dogs stayed at Smithy cottage in Bowland Bridge. The cottage was in a beautiful location and was very comfortable and was very well equipped. We really enjoyed our two week stay and the dogs loved the very large enclosed garden as did we. There were a couple of negative things the mattress on the bed with the bed frame was very uncomfortable and one of group had to sleep in the single bed as they had a bad back, the shower was dangerous as on high power it was far too hot and there were absolutely no house instructions letting you know about bin collection etc . We left the cottage as clean as we could but there were no cleaning products. Nevertheless we did have a good holiday.”

“River House is absolutely stunning. I think the nicest place we have stayed. The house is immaculately clean and has a very well stocked kitchen with utensils, cutlery, pots and pans etc. The beds comfortable. There is a beautiful library with books and dvds, such a peaceful place. The family room area is also very peaceful with a private courtyard and access to the stunning garden. I highly recommend River House and of course the picturesque village of Ramelton.”
