It is warm, clean and cosy, an absolute credit to the owners. We love staying in this cottage which sits in our favourite part of the world.”

“A lovely well placed apartment. Everything clean, and a very comfortable bed. It took a while to find the instructions for the appliances, they are in the hall cupboard. Dont let the number of stairs put you off, we are both well into our 70s and we managed fine as each flight is short.
Just a short pleasant walk(approx7minutes) into ripon centre.

“Have used Sykes several times, their service and properties have been to high standard. However, our last booking was a late deal, made via the website over the weekend, and as soon as we recieved confirmation we realised we had made an error.
I emailed within minutes to make changes - had no response, I phoned the next working day but was unable to speak to a person, was just stuck in an automated answering system. Was disappointed that the company did not live up to the 24hrs to make amendments T & C's - and that the person on the end of the phone experience we had known before was now gone.”

“15/09/25 - 19/09/25 Spent a fantastic 4 night break in this holiday home! The place had everything you need for a home from home experience and then more.... The sauna was fantastic & was used every night... Didn't use the hot tub as it was a bit chilly for me meaning the weather. There's a beautiful roll top bath... Delightful with bubbles n a glass of wine. The garden (at the front) is a good size and our dogs loved it!! The hosts were on hand if you needed anything.. But we had all we needed! Would definitely recommend it., you want be disappointed! We will be back for sure. Thank you for a lovely holiday 👌😀”
“Easy to use website lots of choice easy to book never had any problems with Sykes but one criticism would be when looking for somewhere to stay you can only book one option ie caravan or lodge etc or all be easier if you could tick more than 1 option on filter”
“Everything we needed was supplied. Accomodation was immaculate. Central location was handy for everything. Watch out for the traffic passing the front door as pavement was very narrow.”
“Great selection of houses and excellent service if their are issues during your stay.
During our recent holiday we had problems with the gas supply to the house and the speed and efficiency with which the problem was sorted was very impressive; problem reported at 9:15am, local maintenance attended within 30 mins, identified gas meter not working, gas engineer replaced the meter that afternoon. We went out for the day and Lyme Bay team waited at the house for the gas engineer to attend.”
