“We had a lovely stay.
Property was clean, and had everything you could want in a holiday let.
Set in beautiful surroundings, with great views from the upstairs rear bedrooms, looking across the fields with Horses grazing.
Quiet location, but in close proximity (by car) to all ammenities.
Beach only a 10-15 minute drive away.
Would definately stay here again!”
“We had a wonderful stay in Hazel cottage, it is in a beautiful spot, is very well kept,every thing worked without fault and it was spotlessly clean, we will definitely return.”
“We enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate and very well equipped. The views to the front and rear are amazing. It is well located for visiting Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. There is a traditional pub about 5 minutes drive away however we preferred to drive 10 minutes to the Butchers Arms in Eldersfield as the food was amazing. Please be aware the property is accessed via the Church graveyard so you are unable to drive to the property other than to unload. Didn’t particularly enjoy returning to the property in the dark although a torch was provided. The owners could not have been more accommodating.”
“Unfortunately although the accommodation was modern and clean there was a problem with rain entering the kitchen dining area through the ceiling through the roof . I rang the contact but nothing could be done U til Monday as it was a weekend. There obviously was an ongoing problem as the ceiling was stained brown with watermark s. The photo s are attached”
“Lovely bungalow, well equipped everything you need. Beautiful sun room and the garden was lovely.
We all enjoyed our time in Mevagissey exploring the local beaches with the dogs.”

“Absolutely shocking experience with Sykes cottages.
Using since 2018 staying at the same property for most of this time. The one time we tried to make & resolve a complaint they / owner made it out it was our fault as we left the property after one night. Tried 3 hours to contact them prior to leaving. Took them 5 days to call back!! Owners contacted however stated Sykes were the agent to sort out issues. Then I received emails not to contact the owner. I even suggested I would return to the property to discuss the issues.
We will never use Sykes again after spending nearly £7000 over the years as a repeat customer.”
