“2nd visit to Upleatham Cottage - didn't disappoint. Lovely snacks left by the owner and milk ready for a cup of tea! Small freezer is an addition that was welcomed. Beds lovely and comfortable.
Plenty to do around the area. Going to try Kestrel Cottage next.”
“The Wabi conversion I stayed in was simply perfect. It was very tranquil and completely removed from the stresses of life, I would go back in a heartbeat. I only met one of the owners and he was a lovely guy, the whole place was set up to make you feel as relaxed as possible and I was sad to be leaving. I couldn't recommend it more highly”
“As a rule, I say, if you want a six or seven day break, Sykes Cottages are the way forward, the only letdown can be some lack of details regards properties photographs. Things like how the stairs are laid out can be critical for some people and a floor plan of the property would be very handy, to understand that you may have to rush down three flights of stairs to the loo...otherwise notu h to complain about.”
“Very clean exceptionally well appointed barn conversion. Well situated commanding lovely countryside views. There is a lovely pub about half a mile away but if you walk, take a torch with you, uneven footing at the roadside.”
“We had a very pleasant week in New Quay in a very appealing lodge in lovely quiet surroundings. I've already been asked to submit a review of the property by Sykes, and I obliged, so it is irritating to also be asked to rate Sykes so only 4 stars”
“There was only one key to the Yale lock for the entrance hall. Felt quite nervous we would accidentally lock ourselves out.
The flat has good furnishings and decor giving the lounge an elegant feel.
There is no shaver/toothbrush socket in the bathroom so a two pin adaptor is essential kit if you can find a functioning outlet to plug it into. These are quite scarce. The two USB slots in the breakfast bar socket were a help.
The kitchen is only suitable for very basic cooking or reheating but with so many eating places within easy walking not too much of a problem. The footpath accessible through the rear garden is a very useful shortcut.
Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place for a short break.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed another stay at this lovely little cottage. It's difficult to draw your focus away from the mesmerizing views. It's the perfect spot for some quiet relaxation.
The cottage is very well equipped and the owner is easy to contact if you need any help.
The picturesque village of Moelfre is 2 minutes away, where there is a lovely pub, chip shop and Ann's pantry.
We plan to return next year.”
“We were very happy with the accommodation and had a lovely break away in Llandudno. The house is so beautiful and views were great. We really felt at home here. Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you Oweners Adam and Lauren for your kindness and sharing your property.
