“Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay. Stunning views of the beach from the balcony and living room. The apartment itself is a little tired and dated and would maybe benefit from an upgrade and better heating. We found the beds were very comfortable and the mezzanine level was a great addition. We are looking forward to booking again in the future.”

“We had a lovely stay at Christmas cottage. It was warm and cosy with plenty of hot water and good water pressure, lovely comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Mark was a fantastic and generous host with great communication throughout. We didn’t run into any issues but we had Mark’s contact details and he made it clear that he was on hand to help if needs be, which was great for peace of mind. Lovely stay, we will be back!”

We have always found it to be very reasonably priced and with a wide variety of accomadation to suit every taste and budget. We have recently returned from a lovely break in Alnwick. The cottage being everything we had hoped for and in a great location, and with only six weeks till our next trip it won't be long before I am looking again for another Sykes holiday let.”

“WOW WOW WOW what a lovely cottage , we were greeted by Chris who showed us around & was available if needed , The cottage was spotless & needed for nothing , hot tub was chemical tested every day & the showers are to die for, oh forgot to mention the under floor heating , I can honestly say this is the best Cottage so far I have rented , Well Done Chris & Alison you done a fantastic renovation”
“We absolutely loved our stay at Kitty’s cottage- the location is amazing with so much on your doorstep. The cottage is cosy and we felt instantly at home. Jute only reason for not giving 5 stars is the strange mattress in the double room which seems to have a bump in the middle. It made sleeping quite hard! The cottage would also benefit from a bit of fresh paint and clean of the carpets. Would definitely book again though as such a great location”
