“A great little flat for a couple, very modern and well equipped and a great location to walk to beach and town centre, with a parking space and a nice balcony. We would use again when we return to Exmouth.”
“Sykes are very easy to use, you can usually find the right place for your needs for a great holiday.
We usually book at least 2 cottages in the UK a year, and have never been disappointed, we had one issue which Sykes were very quick to rectify. Which was not Sykes fault,it was due to flooding in the area.”
“Ebenezer House is a lovely cottage. It is in a great place for all amenities. The cottage itself is amazing if you go away with the family. The garden is lovely to sit on while big enough for the children to play. We were away with a 3 year old so we managed to play lots of outside games. I would really recommend for anyone with a family to try this cottage”
“We liked the open plan aspect of the lounge, dinner and kitchen. There were lovely views from the house and raised decking. The hot tub offered another good feature, however upon first use the water looked like it needed cleaning/treatment. For those who have mobility issues then within the house there are many steps and the garden is sloped. We did make use of the fire pit at the bottom of the garden. We couldn't use the off road parking on the drive as it is very steep and not wide enough to open the car doors. The kitchen offered the usual appliances but we did find the cupboards for food storage a little limited. On arrival the house was tidy but could have been a little cleaner. The hoover didn't have a cleaning head or pipe so using it was difficult requiring you to bend down. We did search all cupboards thoroughly but couldn't find the items.
The house is in a good location only a short drive into town and reasonable drive to Conwy, Llandudno, Anglesey, amongst other places.”
“We had a lovely time at Little Westwards. Everything was just perfect. All those little extras made a difference, welcome pack, dog treats and toys, toiletries. Our dog Toby loved seeing Lugo, escaping to get to him! Thank you once again Janet, Robert, Anusha and Jamal xx”
“A lovely, quaint cottage. Beautifully clean when we arrived and very welcoming. A detailed folder with emergency numbers, how to work things, suggestions of places to eat etc. A very short walk (about a minute) to the stoney beach. Stairs are steep. The main bathroom is downstairs. The smallest room has a very small toilet in it but was useful for those early morning interruptions! Nice size kitchen with lots of appliances. Parking is an issue but we always found free parking spaces up the sea front road. I loved this little cottage.”
“Wonderful setting in Perth but quite expensive. Cottage was clean and tidy. The National Trust for Scotland staff made me feel so welcome. They were 5 star all the way.”
“Cottage was rural with space for 1 car per cottage, there are 3 cottages in total. The stables is the first one and is overlooked, it has a lowish fence which other cottages walk around. The back of the owners accommodation looks directly on to it. The only time we spoke to the owners was when they told us we'd left the outside light on all night while they cleaned the hot tub about 4.30pm on our first proper day. Cottage has a lovely modern kitchen which is full of everything air fryer, slow cooker, washing machine, but it only has a teeny tiny freezer, and a smallish fridge so bear this in mind. It has a nice modern bathroom but the shower needs a pump for power imo, there is a useful downstairs loo too. The dogs aren't allowed upstairs which was difficult as ours have access at home and aren't used to being segregated. There is a stair gate that helps. I'd have liked a fan in the property as it got hot upstairs. There are TVs in both bedrooms and living room, none are smart though so no Netflix or streaming, I'd have taken my fire stick if I'd known. There is also a locked door in the bedroom which I personally found really off putting. Lots of dog poo in the garden when we arrived we picked up 4 poos from other people which is a bit disrespectful, pick up after your dogs before you leave. Hot tub was cooler then we were used to and we couldn't seem to turn it up. The cover to the hot tub is also heavy and seems a bit broken compared to others we've used. It's really hard to pull back over. It was a nice touch though. Well situated for diddly squat, Cotswolds zoo etc etc all of which are dog friendly. Really enjoyed this area to holiday In and you can tell it's a labour of love to the owners, they have tried hard to make this a home from home for people.”
