I usually book a couple of months in advance and there’s still a lot of choice.
Been using Sykes for many years now and have always had good experiences.”
“The park and location are lovely, but the accommodation, 1 Southern Place was very disappointing. Do not believe the pictures as they bear no relation to the reality. Flooring was damaged throughout, the cosy sofa in the pics has been replaced with a cold 'leatherette' (plastic) one, no exercise bike in the Spa room. An as for the roof terrace well that is just a joke, no inviting sun loungers or table and chairs as per the pics, totally unusable.
We left feeling very cheated.”
“We were very pleased with our booking through Sykes Cottages which was relatively easy to book and the payments went according to plan. The online description of the beds and bathrooms could have been clearer, as these were very important to us, but we were able to call the owner to clarify the details so we knew what to expect. The cottage was excellent and we enjoyed our holiday.”

However I strongly advise not to bother with the insurance offered by Skyes. We nearly had to cancel our holiday but it was impossible to contact anyone. Total waste of money.”

“A very lovely cottage with everything you need to stay and spacious.
Unfortunately my dog was not keen on the gravel so I had to take him out each time to find some grass which was not easy as the road had no path and the field out back was full of nettles. There was also a flie issue at the cottage and I was unable to spray because of the dog, they drove me mad day and night. A nice area to stay in but you really had to drive everywhere . The beaches are so pretty and go for miles and the sunsets were beautiful.
There was also very little information on places to visit locally or to eat which was a shame.”
