“Lovely and spacious accommodation. Clear instructions and good communication with owners. Quiet village with shops nearby, lots of parking available.”
“Pelham house has everything you need for a stay in Keswick in the Lake District. It is only a five minute walk into Keswick and from there only five minutes to Derwent Water.
The house itself has everything you need, three bedrooms, two on the first floor and the third on the second floor where there is also a bathroom, toilet and two sinks. The second floor bathroom is very old and although thoroughly usable could do with a refit. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, living room which is comfortable and has a decent TV and the kitchen which also has all that is necessary. Overall good - would happily stay there again.”
“Wonderful friendly welcome even though we were late .Stunning position with spectacular views out to the Menai strait and then mountains behind The welcome pack was thoughtful and very much appreciated. The house has everything you need was very clean and tidy.We loved the hot tub and the children enjoyed the childrens area stocked with games ,tv ,dvd and books. We loved our hiday thank you”
“We stayed there for 4 days. We have 2 children and 1 toddler. Daughters 10 and 14 slept on the sofa bed but it wasn’t as comfortable as the bed in the master bedroom. The master bed was really big so it could fit 3 people. The rooms were very spacious and all the utensils were there so we didn't need to bring a lot of items to our room. The balcony was quite nice and it showed off a really nice view. I would love to stay there again.”
“Would definitely recommend staying at the Lodge at Greystoke it was absolutely perfect. Cottage was spotless, so well equipped and the gardens and wood was amazing.”
“The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointed and the hosts were really helpful. We felt completely at home and would readily go back to Anvil Cottage again.”
“Our cottage was in a lovely position, but the strong smell of weed was quite off putting, when sat in the garden. Areas of the cottage would benefit in some TLC as looking a bit tired.”
“We have stayed at Thorn Cottage many times. It is a wonderful, magical property, superbly equipped with everything from games and DVDs to bakeware and a little boat to take out into the lake. We've passed many lovely hours here enjoying the beautiful gardens. Louise, the housekeeper, is especially kind, helpful and friendly. This is our favourite property of all the ones we have ever stayed in. Can't recommend highly enough.”
“Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, mod cons and well equipped kitchen. Excellent location for exploring the local areas, especially the walks in the Dales. Richmond itself is charming.”
