Excellent cottage ...spotlessly clean, and well appointed. Very cosy and central for the Peaks, although you do need to drive to any main attractions, Buxton 15 mins. The Church Inn highly reccommended for food.
The Wifi and Mobile signal was indeed very sketchy as warned. Some of the freeview TV channels do not work - but no great problem. We throughly enjoyed our stay....many thanks”
“We have stayed at this property 3 times now. Great location, has everything that we require inside the property but is starting to look a little tired. More so downstairs in the living and dining areas where there are loose trailing cables hanging away from the walls and generally could do with a bit of decorating to freshen up.
The window blind pull cords are still broken in the lounge and bedroom. To open the bedroom blind you have to climb on the bed to reach. We first reported this in January 2025 and still hasn’t been properly repaired.”

“Fantastic accommodation!! A very well equipped, cosy cottage, with the most comfortable bed and a beautiful view. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to sit out to eat on the lovely veranda but we still enjoyed going outside and staring at the view, sometimes being joined by the Farm security guard - Mr Peacock. The cottage is in a great location, with walks from the farm itself or within a short drive of some wonderful riverside or moorland walks, cafes and Longnor for yummy fish and chips.”
“Our cottage was lovely & so were the people who owned it. However, Sykes Cottages are a very poor company which we experienced when changing our booking. The updated trip dates were several hundred pounds cheaper & they said that they would ask the owners first reduction, having charged an admin fee but they never did ask the owners.”

Kingussie is a lovely town. Everything we needed was easy to resource from the delightful walks to well stocked local shops, places to eat/ drink and great travel links.
Would highly recommend.”
“Excellent base to explore the Llyn peninsular. Lovely well equipped bungalow and garden with great conservatory. As has been said before the king mattress is too soft for us. Twins are comfortable.”
“Beautiful barn conversion in glorious countryside with panoramic views. Peace and quiet recharged our batteries. However, finding Todridge farm was a problem, as our Satnav directed us to a nearby village, and contact with Satnav was hit and miss. Think directions could be simplified or mapped out.
One criticism was the supply of baking trays, think they should be binned and replaced, they had been used by previous guests and not cleaned. Just a few tweaks will definitely award a 5star rating.
If anyone is looking for a restful break in idyllic surroundings, Todridge farm is ideal.”
