“This was our second stay in Langurra. It’s perfect. Close to the pubs and Jam Jar. Ten minute walk to the beautiful beach and the house has everything you could need. Roz the owner is great, super helpful.”
“Best vacation rental we have had to date. It was spotlessly clean, very well stocked (kitchen, etc) and very comfortable. The location is outstanding, giving amazing views from most rooms. The owners live next door and were really nive and responsive to our questions. Overall, fantactis stay and will def book again.”
“I was dubious booking through them as i had seen some poor reviews online. However we had no issues what so ever, holiday went absolutely fine, they keep us updated and sent us information along the way. Customer service could be a bit quicker and more contactable when needed but other than that it was absolutely fine, no issues.”

Ripon does seem to be suffering like the rest of the country with shops/pubs and food outlets closing down.
The house was clean and welcoming as usual however, the toilet cistern was sticking and needs looking at.

“The property was well presented with a good welcome pack of bread, local scones, clotted cream, jam milk. The location is very rural although only a few miles from Mevagissey, access is along a farm track. We had no issues with a SUV though. Our dog was puzzled by the squirrels and peacocks (including chicks) that came close to the decking area. He was safe behind the wire fence so all good.”
“We had a lovely stay at Gudjem. the house was clean and comfortable and it was a great space for our group of 5 adults and a child - having two living room spaces was especially good. The location was also brilliant, with such easy access to the town and the shops and the beach. There are a few very minor issues - a downstairs hot tap that didn't work, one shower with broken buttons and another with low water pressure - but that could be fixed. Overall, though, it was very good and we would definitely come back again.”
“When we got there, the toilet wasn't working. Then the reception and restaurant was shut for 2 days the stuff was very unfriendly I was really disappointed with this hoilday.”
“As one of my sons said, shabby chic. We enjoyed our stay - in warm, sunny weather where we had the run of the cafe's garden after it closed at 1500. The house is well equipped, but in need of some significant attention to windows and floors, and to the entrance door which could not be latched properly because of sagging. The grandchildren enjoyed the mud kitchen.”

“The cottage and garden were as beautiful as advertised. We spent as much time as possible outside and ate there every day. The whole area is spectacular and we loved Bakewell and Hathersage. The hosts were friendly and helpful - their dog provided plenty of entertainment.”

The property is very well presented. Fiona met us on arrival and checked in on us during our stay which was lovely. Plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 teens and a child. The area is so peaceful yet close enough to walk into Porthmadog. We really didn’t want to leave!”
