“Simply loved this home for our family holiday. The layout of the converted chapel was so good and allowed the family to be together, even when they weren't. The children loved being upstairs watching the TV or playing games but also being part of the adults conversations.
We all miss being there, now we're at home.
10/10 doesn't do it justice.

“Booked The Studio last minute to meet up with friends. We have always been happy with Sykes bookings and are regular users.
Sorry to say this property was a huge disappointment.
It has clearly been very nice in the past but has been very neglected. We don't mind tired but unfortunately the property was very dirty.
We bought anti-back wipes, cleaned as much as we could, hoovered and actually had to buy sheets and pillow cases as the bedding smelled bad.
The only reason we didn't leave was because we had driven a long way and wanted to meet friends. We did leave a night early.
Avoid this property until it has had a deep clean and refresh - or until the price reflects the lack of care and attention.”
“Have used Sykes cottages for many years, generally book 3 or 4 holidays with them each year.
I usually book on line, which is straight forward and easy, but have if had a query when telephoning have always found the staff very helpful. would certainly recommend using Sykes, as we have for places all over the UK. I am sure you will be happy with the results.”

“Tried to book a holiday on the evening of 1 September and it would not let me book it online. It accepted my early bird 10% discount code and showed it had been deducted but I couldn’t complete the booking. I called Sykes the next day to be told it wasn’t valid. I therefore couldn’t have the discount - very disappointing!”
“We had a lovely short stay at Bowbear Barn. The Barn was very nice and the facilities inside were perfect for us and our 2 Labradors.
The garden and parking area was an excellent. The dogs were very happy to say hello to the Bulls in the field (!) but we came away with 2 dogs safe and well. lol
Jackie and Adrian were very good hosts and were always available if needed.

“Booked a cottage last minute with Sykes the day before we were due to go and the money was taken. All the usual emails sent confirming the booking and receipt for payment. Later that day, after arranging all the stuff araound the visit and family we got a call saying sorry it wasn't available !!! but he said we could have a 10% discount for the trouble. An email was sent offering other properties that frankly didn't match what we had booked, all except one that was much more money. The email offered us it with a discount so we rang to book it. We were told the chap on the phone had no permission to discount anything and the price sone £250 more would stand. DREADFULL CUSTOMER SERVICE”
