“Very basic course, snippets of valuable information but certainly not a week’s worth of valuable content. Truthfully I feel like the course is a major box ticking exercise, but I could see how some people get value from the course. If you don’t know how to write a cover letter and CV I’d advise attending, however if you’ve been taught to a higher educational standard and have corporate experience, I’m not sure how much value you’ll get out of it”

“Our Tutor was very patient with the students in explaining and usually having to explain again tasks because some were either not listening or didn’t understand. I believe the class was a mixture of those who weren’t familiar with office procedures whereas others were so our Tutor had great patience. Her tone was very engaging and made you feel you could ask her anything and she wouldn’t be irritated.”

“I just completed the one-week Employability course, Level 1 at Strive Training, which I enjoyed a lot. Our tutors, Carlene and Sam, were excellent. They provided practical skills for job applications, prepared us for interview questions, and helped us master the STAR technique and how we can become ourselves STARS.
