After writing a first review, that has since been taken down, I am hoping my second attempt to review will be left live for other consumers. The Elnur storage heater i bought is an adequate product but the programming functions are very poorly set out. The heater sent out was defective and would not store charge. Both Elnur and Merinal (trading under Storage Heater Sales on the internet) had shocking after sales service. A contracted service repair technician was eventually sent out to replace the circuit board and display, after a fair amount of time wasted chasing the whereabouts of the replacement parts. I would not recommend either the Elnur storage heater or Merinal/ Storage Heater Sales.

I paid for a pre 12 delivery, the instruction on the website said I would get a telephone call to confirm time, this did not happen... I sent an email at the time I purchased requesting the delivery date. The next morning I received an email saying it was coming a day earlier. I contacted Merinal by phone and they rescheduled the delivery for the following day. At 12.30 I contacted Merinal as no heater arrived and I was told it would be between 14.30 - 16.30.They aplogised and said the pre-delivery fee would be refunded. It arrived 15.45. Once the heater arrived, there were no fixings as described with the heater and more disappointingly no cable..... Still waiting for the refund.

Although we were able to order our storage heater without problem the company promised a delivery date which they had no way of delivering as it was in the hands of a different company. We had specified a date as we had to travel 120 miles to receive the heater. Merinal offered us £35 recompense. We had to drive to the delivery company depot and collect the heater ourselves.

Hi, thank you for your review. We apologise that the item did not arrive as planned. Unfortunately due to driver shortages throughout the UK your item took longer than expected to arrive to you. We paid for a Next day service, as we do with all our orders. However, on this occasion, the depot were unable to fulfil this on our behalf. We offered, to re-arrange to a suitable day with an upgrade to AM or for you to collect from the local depot with £35.00 refund, as this was our cost of delivery. We did this to ensure you were able to still get your item on the original agreed day. Again we are sorry about this and hope the £35.00 that was accepted, covered the fuel and times used to collect from the local depot. If you need anything else, please call us. Regards Cory

Received the wrong storage heater, the correct heater arrived the next day but without the bricks, still waiting for the bricks over a week later! and the wrong heater hasn’t been re collected.

Quick delivery......excellent. front panel damaged probably because of carrier and no padding on most essential part. Need it fitted immediately due to rental property so I'll get it fitted today

I have not received it through Parcel force - I waited at the designated time received zero notification until after designated time - which told me that Parcel force had left a note which they hadn't , l'm still trying to work out out where parcel force have taken the heater can you help ?

They have sent text messages to the contact number on your order to advise you of your delivery. Hi Mark, Thank you for your review. Can you please confirm if you used our heat calculator to work out what size heater you needed to heat the room? As the 750w panel heaters are only meant to heat a small room that is roughly 3m x 2m x 2.2m that is fully insulated. These heaters are meant for providing instant heat or for use with an additional heating source as they can be inefficient when used for long periods of time. Kind Regards Cory Kind Regards

Product was fine. The issue I had was that parcel was send to wrong nr( nr 20 instead of 70) had to knock all the doors in the street to find out where it was.

two of the four packs of bricks were broken in places so we had to delay the fitting of the heater. A shame as in all other regards - cost, spee3d, politeness, the company was at least good! IF the replacement packs of bricks arrive tomorrow as promised my opinion may be revised upwards...

The packsge was incomplete as the electric cable and wall fixings were missing

Hi Mr Singh, Sorry to hear you thought the package was incomplete. But as I explained on the phone. The reasons the storage heater does not come with screws is that depending on the wall type would depend on what kind of screws you would need. Cable is not provided as it would depend on how far away the storage heater is away from the fused spur. It also means that you then need to get a fully qualified electrician to install the heater to keep your warranty. Elnur has been manufacturing storage heaters for over 40 years and has never included these in their packaging for this reason. As I said during our telephone conversation I will be more than happy to supply yourself with screws and cable. Please could you email us with the amount of cable needed and what type of screws you need for fixing. sales@storageheatersales.co.uk Once again we would like to apologise, but for the above reasons Elnur does not supply them with the storage heaters. One radiator incorrect on first delivery. Replacement took months to re-deliver. And when it arrived, replacement radiator was crushed on one corner. Carrier put us under great pressure to accept delivery and wouldn't give us time to inspect. We'll put radiator in the skip because we can't face dealing with this company again.

On the first day the delivery was expected it didn't happen. I did get a phone call to say it was because the driver was stuck in traffic. On the second day I was told I would get a phone call 1 hr before delivery. I didn't. The delivery just came.

The delivery driver slammed the phone down on me when he called to say he couldn't find where I live. I explained I was at work (as a nurse) I wish I had used another provider.

We are speaking to the company involved now and if you have a driver name , telephone number or any information that would be a great help. As we use external couriers to ship our storage heaters it is harder to directly control but it is totally unacceptable for anyone delivering on our behalf to act in this way. The company should pay for insurance on Delivery , Or insist that the people responsible for delivery have the insurance required . So that a decent (door to required area is Found.). Goods just left in the street is never a good idea . My order insisted that it should be after 10.30 am. But ! No the delivery rounds man deceided to phone me at 7.45 am . I refused to accept it and was told that he would take it back !. . Later I phoned and was told that it had been already delivered and signed for by some fictitious person. This company let me down a 75 year old invalid .
