easy to fit and use but the bricks arrived badly damaged, I managed to piece them back together to make a reasonable job

Heater has now been installed for 2 weeks and works fine; much easier to control than our ancient Creda was. Delivery aspect could have been improved - there was silence for several days before it was confirmed, and when it arrived the driver was unhelpful with a brusque jobsworth attitude. The heater was left at the door and he refused even to help us lift it over the threshold. My wife and I are not in the first flush of youth, and we had to unpack it outside. And even then, lifting just one brick was tough.

I expected to get an update on delivery by logging on to the web site, but this was never updated. it was only when I called, that the delivery was arranged. And it came quickly (and I was pleased with that!).

Received the product and the driver was so kind to load it into the back of my car as I was out at the time and my Wife was in, so far very happy, only just installed it so will see when it works on Economy 7 tonight .

Products fine but there are better delivery companies, had to go twice to depot and wasn't carded, no idea when deliveries were going to be and they don't ring mobile.

Product ordered on 9th December, and delivered with one heater missing. Returned by courier. Next time delivered, same opened box with still only one heater. Eventually another arrived after a further phone call. I arranged for the electrician to fit tis am 17th December 16. He came to tell me there were no brackets and they were also just wall heaters and not storage heaters, so he would not fit them. I would like you to collect the heaters ASAP and my money returned ASAP please. As my tenant will be away please collect from The Laurels ,Ansford Rd, Castle Cary. Please contact me on 01963 351043 very disgruntled Paula Willcock. Heaters taken back in January and money refunded with no problem, so product not for me , but nice people to deal with . Thank you. Thank you for your call this morning. Once again sorry about the problems with the delivery company. This is not something we usually experience and is something we are currently disputing with the company over the box damage and missing heater. The unit was delivered with a damaged bottom left hand corner. It is now installed but am disappointed that this has spoiled its appearance. Returning was considered but the heater was needed.

I have now installed the 2.5Kw auto heater, and - importantly - kept an eye on first charge: a fair amount of steam vented off. I reckon the fire bricks absorbed moisture, even though I wrapped in tarpaulin; prior, to install: too heavy to move, on the mini-pallet; the driver, and I struggled to carry them to my frontage! I think this dampness made fitting the bricks difficult: they jammed - tightly fitting - and, yes, they were right way round. Element packing, and case structure is minimalist. I got a bag of -unneeded screws/ hole plugs...confusing: the feet just clip in. Now that the heater has been, 'run-in', I am delighted with it. It is slim, good looking design: bolting to wall is essential; as expected. Technical aspects I like: the multiple over heat stats; the control Input thermostat, with 2 sensors;; the resistor/ bi-metal strip, that shuts the flaps automatically during charge. Overall: Good looking, functional heater, at excellent price: easily matches the opposition, in same price bracket, I fully recommend, with one caveat: take care with assembly, and case handling. Elnur automatic static storage heater works as expected. Input set to 5 and we open the output in the evening as the primary heat release keeps the chill at bay until home from work. Needed cord to install. A bit of a challenge if you ain't got the skills. Rang to ask for delayed delivery until a time when I knew I'd be home. Was told someone would call me back in 10min. I rang back 30min later after no reply! Was told delayed delivery had been arranged. It hadn't....it turned up the next day....had to be received by a neighbour. On the upside, installed and used straight away. Nice 'n' toasty. Will need another one for open plan living-dining space in mid winter.
