“Sonarworks offer exactly what I was looking for. The website is easy to navigate and informative, providing a smooth shopping experience. Information required pre and post purchase was easily accessible and clear. I didn't require help from the Support Centre. A couple of possible recommendations: 1. Information to support monitoring in Logic Pro would be helpful addition to your DAW list. 2. With the option to use the stand-alone app or DAW plugin there are several ways to route SoundID Reference. I experimented to find what worked best in my setup. Maybe descriptions of different routing configs/workflows and corresponding latency considerations would be useful? Overall... very satisfied!”

“After researching extensively all the in-ear virtual environments, and demoing them, I discovered sonar works virtual monitor system. After already owning the calibration software, this was a no brainer to demo. The clean visuals, no frills, all function interface was actually refreshing. By removing the noise of other products images and imitations and studio names, I felt like I could just get to work. And work it did. It also works with my specific brand of headphones (Blue Lola). My first mix in the headphones translated everywhere beautifully. I was sold. The enchiladas sale was also a welcome incentive. One star deducted not due to qualifying sound, but binaural calibration features like others are experimenting with. I would also love to see a mix box/mono speaker in the screen simulation. Things a clean, no fuss, great sounding plugin especially if you already own the calibration plugin…this is a no brainer. So pleased with purchase, support documentation, everything has been clean and easy to set me up for success.”

“The purchasing was simple for a upgrade. There are many upgrade options which can get a little overwhelming if your unsure witch upgrades you would need or apply to your versions. Having a drop down to choose what you already own that filters and shows you all available upgrades based on what you already own would make it easier to navigate and understand it more clearly. I have already got someone to purchase this after using it for a few years. Speaker calibration is a very feature to have.”

“I recently purchased Sonarworks Multichannel along with the Apollo add-ons, and I’m completely satisfied. All the information I needed before and after the purchase was easy to find, clearly explained, and well-structured. The installation was quick, the interface is intuitive, and the calibration results are impressive — the sound is precise and predictable. A special thanks to the support team: responses are fast, helpful, and genuinely tailored to my setup, not just copy-paste instructions. Overall, Sonarworks is a reliable product with a thoughtful approach. My only suggestion would be to add more advanced materials for multichannel users. Other than that, everything is excellent. “it was super easy to install and setup. once the calibration profile was on, my old mix sounded horrible. muffled lows, dim highs, random sample volumes. that's how you know this plug in is fire. i was able to correct my mix and when it sounded right with this plugin on, it sounded right everywhere else”

“I'm embarrassed to admit that this studio update should have happened years ago. It had always been a struggle with mixing my low end in my studio and then it not translating to my Truck's high end sound system. From the moment I utilized the newly implimented SoundID Reference adjustments to my system it magically tranlated my mix to my truck's sound system (and other sources as well). I have since updated to Dolby ATMOS and updated my SoundID Reference License accordingly. It's a complete game changer when it comes to mixing music. What this update does for me is that it dramatically reduces the amount of time it takes to mix songs down. The adjustments in EQ curve also tamed down the highs where my ears don't get as fatigued as fast as they did before. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and bite the bullet on the cost right now as it will save you so much time and also help make your mixes even better than before.”

“The company offers, if I remember correectly, a two week trial, and after the trial expired they extnded it for another 5 days. Their customer ser4vice is responsive and quite fast. And I like the product I demoed, eventually buying it.”

“My experience with Sonarworks has been genuinely excellent. The shopping process was smooth, and it was very easy to find all the information I needed both before and after the purchase. The website clearly explained what each license does, and the setup steps were straightforward. After installing it, the difference was immediate — my headphones sound phenomenal. I’m using Sonarworks together with my UAD Apollo interface, and the integration works flawlessly. Everything feels clean, balanced, and far more reliable for mixing. Overall, a fantastic product and a great user experience from start to finish.”
