“Brilliant product, and the virtual monitoring adds a new way to critically listen to your work in different environments. I was completely fooled when I switched to the smartphone simulation. It sounded as though the sound was literaly coming out of my phone sitting on the desk in front of me. Having said that, I held off frm upgrading for a few months due to a region related bug which caused the computer to freeze when running Sound ID. I pulled the trigger when the support desk announced that the issue has been fixed. While my computer no longer freezes, the plugin still does not work natively. Further digging revealed that Mac OS 10.15 Catalina is no longer supported, so I suspect this will not be an issue if you are running on a newer OS. For now, I am resorting to running Sound ID as a plugin, not ideal but I can live with that. Shopping experience was smooth and good, support centre was responsive and helpful.”

“The purchasing experience was practical and smooth, the service was high quality and the installation was efficient and fast.The information is very easy to find since through platforms like YouTube there are very clear points of explanation about the installation and how each of your products work, so that topic is completely well covered for my personal experience.and my experience with the support centre was very satisfactory and pleasant, they are very attentive and do not leave any detail unattended. The entire experience from start to finish was smooth and painless, and I was even provided follow up e-mails to ensure I was able to get things setup properly. Sonarworks has created a suite of videos that show step by step how to setup and use SoundID Reference, I would highly recommend Sonarworks to every composer!”

“I heard of SonarWorks from a YouTuber named SixteenMono, who used it in a mix of a song that I love. I decided to get the free trial, and I was not disappointed at all with how articulate and precise the software was in catching all the harsh frequencies that I wouldn't have heard. I use the headphone version, but I find it to be the best because I usually mix with my headphones anyway. For any of my friends who are interested in mixing, I would recommend this software due to how powerful it is. It will transform a mediocre mix into an expert one”

“I have been a user of Sonarworks since the original Reference and it has gotten better and better. I am just getting started with the virtual monitoring and have yet to spend enough time to get past the leanring (hearing) curve that comes with any kind of monitoring but I am looking forward to it being part of my workflow.”
