“It is quite literally a life changing tool for working in headphones. My HD600 sound drastically different - the weak spots of the headphones have almost disappeared. Though - speaking about speakers calibration in a non acustically treated room, please abandon an illusion, that this tool will magically remove bass resonances.”

“As a sonwriter and demo recorder in my home studio, I own both Sonarworks Sound ID and Voice AI. In my situation, SoundID is an absolute "must" to deal with studio monitors in untreated spaces, especially for managing low end buildup. Plus Sound ID makes headphone monitoring a complete joy. I'm very happy I discovered Sonarworks. Instantly downloadable, it's been the answer to lot of my sonic problems. Highest recommendation.”

“Ok I when I first looked at Voice AI i instantly dismissed it due to having to purchase tokens to use it, but when it was offered as a perpetual license using my own computer to do the processing I was immediately interested, good move for sonarworks. This a fine piece of software, simple but very effective, results can vary from excellent to not so favourable, you have to be prepared to put some some time in experimenting with the different voice algorithms, what you input into it can have a huge impact on the results you get. Placing the plugin at the beginning of the vocal chain before any effects is probably the wise thing to do, however you could put an EQ before it to do the usual low cut etc just to clean up the vocal a bit. The software couldn't be simpler you just click on capture and play the track and click stop when it has finished. You then just click process and away it goes and does its thing. You then play back the track listen to result and if your happy you can do further vocal processing as you would normally. As for any editing features you only really have transpose up or down, if you choose to transpose you have to reprocess it again. I love its simplicity and high quality results I'm glad there are no effects built in to it, let's face we've all have zillions of them don't we. This without a doubt is the best plugin of this kind I've heard. Sonarworks are a very high quality software developer , I use there Reference ID on a regular basis and it's class. I can only see this software getting better and better and Sonarworks will be the leaders in this field. I'm going to mainly use Voice AI to create female backing vocals from my somewhat deep male voice, I've already fooled a few people into thinking I hired a female singer.”

“I had in the 1970s audio as my trade. When I retired 7 years ago, I started to produce music at my home studio. Now what we were dreaming of back then it's now real with a small budjet. I work mostly with headphones to not disturb the rest of my family, so it's essential that I can rely on what I hear with my headphones. I heard of Sonarworks SoundID Reference from a home studio Facebook group and deciced to give it a try. Ordering, paying and even taking it to use went smoothly. I use it with my three PC's. To my surprise it was available also to my Android phone and tablet - and for free. I was amazed how the whole listening chanced and it effected to my mixing and mastering results dramatically. Specially I enjoyd the possibility to check how my productions would sound in different listening environment like smart phones, laptops, cars, TV sets. I recall a hint from an old sound studio engineer that he checked every song also from a C-casette recorder of his car despite his state-of-air studio monitors. I had a couple of issues, but I had surprisely quick (and friendly) answers from the Support Centre which solved my cases. They also took seriously my finding and promised to forward my development suggestion: "Your findings are correct. Currently, there is no such feature within the SoundID Reference software to adjust the volume of left and right chanels individually. I have forwarded your email as a feature request to our Product team for review. I can't promise a timeline, but it will be looked into if enough similar requests have been received." So I am very pleased in all.”

“I came to know about sonarworks from youtube and also my friend, and test out Sonarworks SoundID Reference, for Headphones. I was pleasantly surprised by how it improved my audio experience and my listening skills even with just the trial version! The difference, in quality was so noticeable that I decided to go and buy the full version of the software. The platform is really easy to use ! It was so simple and straightforward, from getting started to signing up – I found it quite intuitive! One thing that stood out to me was how smooth it was to move the license, between systems without any hassle or complex steps involved. But nothing can be perfect always, I recently faced a problem, with SoundID Reference where it kept logging out which was quite annoying and disrupted my work process.When I contacted Sonarworks customer support team I was really impressed by their professionalism and quick response.They soon identified that the issue was caused by my firewall settings interfering with the softwares connection, to their servers.The support staff guided me through every step to fix the problem. Their help was extremely valuable. I think Sonarworks could improve their software by adding features, for situations where theres no internet access or its limited.A good idea would be to have the software authenticate when necessary or to check for internet connection before authentication.This way the software can be more adaptable and easy to use for people, in areas. In general I've had a good experience with Sonarworks SoundID Reference softwares and the performance has been great, for me so far! It has tremendously enhanced the quality of my work. It allso provides outstanding customer support services that were top notch! I would definitely suggest it to anyone wanting to enhance their experience and take it to the next level.”
