“I really love sonarworks. can't live without it. A friend of mine, who is an audio engineer, visited my room and we measured the room acoustics using the REW. After using the sonarworks, my room acoustics condition was so much better than before.”

“Early adopter of SoundID for Apollo integration, and while product integrations are never perfectly seemless, this one was close. What is most impressive is the response time to my questions days after release. I couldn’t be happier with the customer support team. And that goes for all my past interactions with them, too. Always quick to respond and quick to start working on solutions. They even keep me up to date as they work on solutions that take longer to solve or resolve. Happy customer, 5 years and counting.”

“Sonarworks have helped me to reach a better sound in my productions. Bought the bunle with the mic a few years ago. The process to get the product that I needed was smoth and fast. Not more than 3 steps. Support center has all the answers you need and if there's not, emial works too!”

“I received an email from Sonarworks that the UAD Reference extension had been released. I went immediately to the website and upgraded my license. I also checked to make sure I had the latest software from UAD. After installing I couldn't get the extension to work. I rechecked the software from UAD and saw they'd just released the upgrade that allowed the new extension to work. Sonarworks beat 'em to the punch! After that it worked great! VERY pleased with how it all works easily now without using plugins or external apps.”

“Thanks sonar works for integrating this with Apollo. It’s good, it works, but there are somethings needing improvement. When you measure in multichannel it you don’t get the same features as stereo. You can’t see you multichannel profile in Sound ID because there is no system wide function, and you can’t tweak as much as you can with the stereo profiles and you can only see left and right speaker measurements. Even tho, you measured in multichannel channel. Look for most people this is fine, but for those of us working in Atmos, it falls a bit short. Still, it does work. So no complaints and no complaints about having to pay. Except, you do pay a lot for multichannel and it’s not as functional as the stereo version. So clearly sonar works has a bit to do in that space. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.”

“Sonarworks SoundID lifted the veil and breathed new life into my old Mackie HR824 monitors. SoundID needs to be part of every studio without exception. I am evaluating the Virtual Monitoring add-on and several alternatives (Waves NX bundle, SonarWorks, dearVR Monitors, HorNet VHS, and Ghz CanOpener with IR convolution equalization generated by AutoEq.app hosted by Nembrini IR loader). My criteria are: Does it sound like studio monitors in my headphones? Would I have mixed this piece as well or better than on the studio monitors alone? Is it a reliable substitute for studio monitors? None are perfect, but a couple come close enough for the money. Sonarworks Virtual Monitoring adds value for engineers who want or need to check their mixes in headphones. As a side note, the effectiveness of any virtual monitor system is highly dependent on the quality of the headphones. In conclusion, SoundID comes highly recommended. Virtual Monitoring is among the best available options and is well worth the price.”

“SoundID works decently enough if you’re not worried about workflow or user experience (where you can always find bugs). I’ve been a user since the terrible rebrand decision. Purchasing the AMC add on was confusing (since getting the free trial is tied to another add on that some users won’t need). Almost all my bug reports and experiences with SoundID/Sonarworks Support have been frustrating.”

“I’m not a professional, but I know what I want, and know what a pro mix should sound like, but I always had trouble making a mix sound the same everywhere I listened to it. So it was always very frustrating. I had one of your competitor's products. There is no comparison. I used it a few times and it made everything worse, and never used it again. SoundID Reference has changed everything. I have good gear and treatment but it’s a small home studio/room. Now, when I do a mix I don’t have to go to my car, or my phone, or air pods…I known it’s going to sound like it does through my monitors or headphones. I just purchased the Apollo upgrade/plugin and I use their recording software, Luna. Again, such a time saver and now SoundID is in my Apollo interface and on my inputs. I was hoping for something like this. I tell everyone who wants to listen that they need to buy SoundID reference Thanks so much! -John”
