“The measurement and order process for this self assembly and installation latern blind is very comprehensive and precise and the resulting effect is very good. However the assembly and installation guide would benefit from a review and reworking from the user point view. Inspite of this minor reservation the end result is very satisfactory.”

“Very happy with the blinds i ordered. Fitment was perfect, i would suggest supplying longer screws for fixing frame into place. Other than that very happy. Promt delivery aswell.”

“Really easy to order - good quality and better value than a lot of other places. The only thing I wish I'd done is considered the fact the skylight is high, so opening and closing a non-electric blind is tricky. Maybe a reminder on the webpage would be beneficial, to say when ordering 'for blinds you cannot reach manually, consider electric' be good for your sales too! ;-)”

“i ordered my Lantern OpenView back in August, i spoke to Steve who was very helpful in advising me which blind would be suitable and i am very happy with my purchase, although i do not agree that a fairly large blind is a diy job and should have the option for a fitter to measure and fit if required by the customer. i experienced wrong measurements on my part, thankfully Naiomi was so helpful and resolved the problem efficiently a special thanks to the fitter and thank you Steve and Naiomi for your help and support.”

“We ordered a Lanternlight honeycomb, electric, 3m x 1.8m, back in May 2023. Ordering was very easy, we had a couple of queries, quickly and expertly answered. Delivery was in line with the estimated dates provided when we ordered. Once delivered, putting it all together was a bit fiddly, but do-able, using the supplied instructions and YouTube links for guidance. (The written instructions covered most things but the fiddly stuff was lot clearer watching it done on the screen!). We did have a problem with programming the motor, but Naomi was brilliant (and patient) in getting to the bottom of it and quickly providing a replacement motor once we'd worked out what was needed. The blind's now been up several weeks (I like to wait a few weeks before posting a review) and we're very happy with it. All working well, looks good, and it does seem to make a difference to the warmth of the room in the evening. So a 5 review for everything except the slight problems with the product as delivered, even though we can't fault the effort in successfully resolving the issues. Thanks Skylight! We would happily buy another one from you.”
