To begin with I paid over £2000 for a brand new, quality product.(Lets keep that in mind). An 'Osland Columbus' garden gazebo. Not £1.50 loaf of bread with a hole in it. During the planning of this I had many positive email/ telephone contacts with the company, it is a lot of money so I wanted to get everything correct. As I was ordering an additional side section the company said they would send a Storm Brace free of charge. I asked if the required bolts, washers, and nuts would be included, 'Yes they will', I was informed. On the day of delivery the driver started to offload and I pointed out damage to some of the boards. The driver told me that he had told the company about the damage PRIOR to him loading and was advised that it would be OK. The driver stated that he told the staff, 'Well, the customer won't be happy. Well guess what, I was not and refused the delivery and it was returned to the company. I emailed the office and said that I was refusing the delivery. They advised that I was entitled to do so and they would look at the product when it arrived. They indeed contacted me and said that the damage was 'scuffs and scraps, but that an actual broken section, (Part 004 on the plans if any one is interested) "I could have repaired myself". In addition some damage would only be seen from the back. I am not a builder of any description, even if I was, I did not pay good money to repair a new product. It was made very clear to me that because the product had come from Estonia that I should in some way expect and accept some damage,WHY SHOULD I. Anyway, I was told that replacement parts would be ordered and that a second delivery would be arranged. When the gazebo did arrive the driver said the original package was there again plus the replacement parts. On Sunday the 16th November two family members and I began to build the gazebo. Guess what. The replacement broken part 004 was not replaced however I did get an additional roof beam that I did not need. I have no idea why, well I do, because some one did not check properly. Oh, and the additional storm brace nut,bolt and washer was not there either. We had to repair the broken part 004 ourselves or leave the remaining sections unbuilt on the grass in the garden. So we finished the build. I contacted the company on the 17th and raised my displeasure, why I bothered I don't know. They are going to send the additional bits for the storm brace. The company said that the mix up with part 004 and the additional roof beam was understandable as they are similar. NO THEY ARE NOT. They look totally different, even if you closed your eyes and ran you hands over the two pieces you can tell they are different. They added that why did I continue to build the gazebo instead of contacting them. They had two opportunities to get this right and they failed. How many attempts do they want. Any way I have stated my views. I have no doubt that the company, or maybe I have, will respond to this review and I will probably, like Estonia, be to blame. In conclusion: 1. Would I buy from this company again. NO. As Forrest Gump said, “Life is like a box of chocolates”. You never know what you are going to get. 2. Would I recommend this company. NO I would not. I do have Photos of the damage but cant retrieve them from my phone/emails.

Dear Chris, We are sorry that you are not happy with our service. We tried really hard to support you through the build process and provide guidance and help. We diagree with much of your review and think it is unfair, especially the bit about knowingly sending out a damaged building. This is simply not true, as we have no direct contact with any of the drivers it is not something that we would ever do. We have tried to be fair and transparent with all our dealings with you. Good quality kit but doors were damaged. Took 6 weeks to get replacements!

Hi David, We are sorry there was an issue with damages to your cabin doors. They were manufactured in Estonia and the delay in replacing them was driven by having a replacement set made at the factory and then shipped over to us, then after inspecting them, you in the UK. Very disappointed with this product. Not as good as quality as we anticipated. Shed didn't come with felt for roof, when asked I was told that it was to be brought seperately? Shame this isnt highlighted on checkout as its an essenatial part of the shed. Had to go to our local DIY and purchase.

Dear Malcolm, We are sorry that you are not happy with your purchase. We do not supply any of our buildings with a standard roof materials - instead preferring to give customers a choice. We offer the customer options to select felt or shingles on buildings with Apex roofs, or conversley felt or EPDM for buildings with flat / pent roofs. Materials can be sourced via us and delivered with your building, or if preferred locally at a building merchants / DIY store. Your order was placed online, so I have checked the product listing for the item you purchased - a Lasita Osland Donau 28. I can see that we state Optoional Roof Material right above the purchase price, and also repeat it in the section that details the specification of the building. This was obviously missed. so the team will now review to see if there is anything else we can do to make things clearer. Thank you for your feedback. I booked a delivery date for the 6th September but was contacted directly by the manufacturer a few weeks later moving the date to 4th November. I know this isn't the fault of this purchase website but I then got a request for a review now I was apparently enjyoing my product. I would hope thry had a better overview of their whole supply chain/order process.

Smart website, good delivery. Summerhouse delivered damaged, Trims dont find, Window and door hinges rubbish, marker pen writing on floor subframe on side that faces out. Communication with Simply Log cabins just ends up being endless emails with nothing resolved, they appear to be used to receiving negative feedback and reviews. If you are impressed by their website then lower your expectation of what you are actually going to receive. I wouldnt be a returning customer

We are sorry to hear that the summerhouse arrived damaged, it is very uncommon for there to be any issues with these, we get these cabins direct from the factory which are based in Estonia so we can have this reported to them for you.
