“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing service & support throughout the whole process, from purchase to completion the communication from Lewis was fantastic, even when I made a mistake cutting the logs for the optional window, Lewis kept me calm and we got it sorted. Also have to mention the delivery service from Paul at Wrefords Transport, he was very helpful on the day. It makes such a difference when the company you are purchasing from has chosen a great transport company. We went for the Oakham, purely due to our remote location as this cabin has the 70mm logs, it’s absolutely solid and very spacious. The quality of the cabin is second to none. As mentioned we went for the optional rear window which were so glad we did, definitely worth the extra cost. When you unpack the delivery it’s a bit daunting but the cabin was easy enough to build once you’ve organised all the bits. I did most of it on my own and got some help with the roof. The instructions could do with being a bit better especially around windows & doors etc but we got there. If I was to build one again I’d probably have a few long screws handy as I did have some logs that wouldn’t quite drive home so could’ve done with a few screws just to level them off but there wasn’t too many. Just a few bits to complete with oiling and electrics just in time for winter nights in with friends. We looked locally at other cabins but this one is far superior. Totally recommend Simply Log Cabins.”

“We bought the Osland Kirian, and it was delivered a couple of weeks early. Service form Simply Log Cabins has been great. The reason for 4 stars are twofold: 1. The lady at Wreford Transport could do with some Customer Service training. 2. The instructions could be a bit clearer, we were sent assembly instructions for a garden room, which, although covered general assembly didn't explain fully where everything goes. A couple of clear photos of the support and brace position would go a long way. That said we have a fantastic outdoor room which complements our garden and we're looking forward to enjoying it.”

“I agree with other reviews that the instructions were not thorough enough, and construction of the door area was tricky, but it is a lovely cabin solid and finished to a high quality, and good communication regarding delivery, my only complaint is the handles we received brushed chrome for the door and chrome for the windows looks very odd to me but been informed that is what is supplied with the cabin”

“The Summer House was made of quality materials and the delivery driver did a superb job dropping off the goods My only issue was the instructions which I thought were not thorough enough I especially thought the diagrams around the door frame fitting and roof above the door could have been better After saying this I was very pleased with the final product”

“The whole process start to finish was excellent. Initially I spoke with Lewis who answered all of my questions and was very helpful. After ordering the log cabin I was kept fully informed of progress by Danielle who was always swift to respond with points of clarification. It was delivered on time and it looks just as I expected. I would recommend this company and would gladly use them again.”

“Very happy with the overall service received and am very happy with my log cabin. The only downside I can think of is that my chosen delivery date couldn’t be met. The delivery itself was great and the driver was polite and respectful. I feel that more than one mallet block could have been included as the one supplied eventually broke before the construction was finished.”

“Ordered in March been delayed now 4 times and still not delivered. Poor comms and only respond when chased and then 48 hrs later. Very disappointing”

Dear Carole, We are sorry that your building has been delayed. From starting the year with an abundance of stock, huge recent customer demand has meant that all prebuilt stocks have been depleted and the factory is now working double shifts to fulfill outstanding orders in as timely a manner as possible. We are also sorry that we have not been as proactive as we should have been with regards to communication around your order. Hi David, We are sorry there was an issue with damages to your cabin doors. They were manufactured in Estonia and the delay in replacing them was driven by having a replacement set made at the factory and then shipped over to us, then after inspecting them, you in the UK. “Outstanding service and advice and the quality is superb. I bought the icon 200 s. Excellent instructions and I built it myself. I would recommmed the thermowood great company and the delivery was spot on and they went the extra to deliver to exactly where I wanted it”

“I am very happy with my purchase from Simply Log Cabins/Gudrum. I was undecided which log cabin to order (I had a shortlist of 3) but after some discussion with Lewis at Gudrum he recommended the Lasita Osland Belmont 1. The cabin arrived on the specified day, the driver was very friendly and helpful. The wood was of very good quality and well machined, we had all the correct pieces with none damaged or misshapen. I put it together myself with help from my father-in-law (it's a two person job) and it went together quickly and easily. I would definitely recommend both Simply Log Cabins and the Lasita cabins.”

“We've just finished putting up the 'Osland Tampa'. It has been a great experience & the shed/cabin looks a treat. If you study the plan/instructions carefully before commencing, you will hopefully enjoy the project as much as we did. We did have the added bonus of some lovely dry days, which was a godsend with everything spread out on the lawn, but if you do struggle, Lewis in Customer Service, I'm sure, will sort you out? “Very disappointed with this product. Not as good as quality as we anticipated. Shed didn't come with felt for roof, when asked I was told that it was to be brought seperately? Shame this isnt highlighted on checkout as its an essenatial part of the shed. Had to go to our local DIY and purchase.”

Dear Malcolm, We are sorry that you are not happy with your purchase. We do not supply any of our buildings with a standard roof materials - instead preferring to give customers a choice. We offer the customer options to select felt or shingles on buildings with Apex roofs, or conversley felt or EPDM for buildings with flat / pent roofs. Materials can be sourced via us and delivered with your building, or if preferred locally at a building merchants / DIY store. Your order was placed online, so I have checked the product listing for the item you purchased - a Lasita Osland Donau 28. I can see that we state Optoional Roof Material right above the purchase price, and also repeat it in the section that details the specification of the building. This was obviously missed. so the team will now review to see if there is anything else we can do to make things clearer. Thank you for your feedback. “The tent is very good. I am impressed how the main section wraps around the frame and protects the elastic toggles. Solid framework makes the installation quite easy. I would suggest that more eyelets are added to the actual canvas as I find in a moderate breeze the whole thing seems to be quite mobile. To compensate I have added quite a fewmore eyelets, bolted the frame down to the floor and used a couple of large ratchet straps to go over the canvas also bolted down. Now very secure and so far so good. Altogether good value for the money. A++++”
