“We had 2 house moves over 3 months. On both occasions all staff were careful, well trained in their craft and hardworking. We had about 70% of our possessions in storage over this period and they came out of store in good condition. Highly Recommended”

“Apart from an absence of wardrobe boxes and a request to cover the carpets, we found the crew very obliging and helpful. The loading progressed very smoothly and the house was emptied expediently and without problems. Apart from the usual delay waiting for monies to go through the offload was completed in an equally smooth and efficient manner. My wife and were very satisfied with the service provided by Simon Long and have since recommended the company to our daughter and one of our friends who are in fact moving into the house next door!”

“Excellent service. The initial survey was quick and efficient, with attention to small details. The team turned up on time and packed and loaded with care and minimum of fuss. The contents of the van were delivered and unloaded promptly the following day. I'm very grateful to them all.”

“I can't believe how quick, efficient and polite these chaps were. Nothing was too much trouble and I was totally delighted with the whole moving experience. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone. The price was fair and well worth it with the insurances available too. Very professional in all departments. Well done.”

“Simon Long removals were excellent, I can't rate them high enough. Right from when Don came and did a survey they were professional and efficient. Lyn was accommodating with the removal date and the admin was stress free and easy. On the day, Scott and his team of four did an amazing job, they were fast, didn't have a single breakage or damaged box and by 5pm everything was in and positioned, and that was a 120 mile move up the country. A big thanks from us.”

“The move between our properties was made very easy by your team. Everything was handled carefully and with great care. The boys were especially carefull when moving items not to damage them or the property. The move was competed quickly, with no hassle and in a cheerful and friendly way. “The staff who came to our home were courteous, hard working, and helped the move go very smoothly. Communication was good, they were very respectful of our home and our possessions and they delivered the next day as promised with no fuss. This made a big move much easier and less stressful. “So much depends on the initial visit from the firm's surveyor. If he creates a bad impression then things will go no further. I recall one such visit when a surveyor sent to me was clearly minded on having a trip out and enjoying a cup of tea and a chat. He was in no hurry to get on with his business, and when the quotation arrived for my move from Devon to coastal Suffolk I wondered if his firm was planning on shipping my effects by sea by way of the Cape of Good Hope. The most expensive quotation doesn't mean the best service. For my most recent house move which was taken care of by Simon Long Removals the quotation I was given was the most competitive out of three, and I don't believe I could have been served better. The surveyor's appraisal visit was friendly and professional. The boxes he promised to deliver were with me in good time and were all lovely and new—almost a pity to spoil them! When the removal took place it went exactly as expected. David and Carl, two Herculean gentlemen of the most helpful sort, turned up with a vehicle of the ideal size and made light work of moving heavy boxes and awkward furniture that would have floored most ordinary people foolishly confident that they could do it all perfectly easily themselves. Naturally there were no breakages or damage of any kind. As it was to turn out, my planned removal ran into difficulties that could not have been foreseen. That is when you depend very much on being able to contact someone who will help keep things on track. Lyn, at the company's office, was the person who held it all together and made sure I always had a provisional date secured in advance that I knew I could rely on. I don't believe anyone could have been more patient and cheerfully efficient than Lyn. So full marks to Simon Long Removals I found them in Yellow Pages and didn't use them on any recommendation. But I hope others will use them on mine.”

“I was dreading moving from an eight bedroom house to a three bedroom bungalow. The removal men were cheerful the whole day and with much hilarity all our belongings ended up in one piece in our "Little" house. They made the day enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend them and thank them again for their excellent service.”

“The team arrived early, began their task with humour but full of respect for our property. Delivery to Lincs was trouble free. They didn't bother to stop for lunch. Likewise, the same humour and respect was displayed during off-loading at our new home. I fully recommend these men to move other families.”
