“Despite going up a band size, it was still far too small and once I wrestled myself in and left me struggling to breathe. It’s a shame that there is no free and easy returns process when the sizing is so different to what you would usually expect”

“The size was completely wrong. I’m generally a 30f, but this sports bra didn’t even come close to being correct. From what I can gauge I think I would have to purchase a 32h, hopefully then I would be able to see if it has good support or not.”

“The bra is ok, but sizing not great. I measured using the guidance and it seemed ok when trying it on but not until I wore it did it become clear that although fitting well at the bottom, it is too loose at the top and the meshing doesn't offer any support. Can't return now. Very sad as not cheap”

“The bra itself may be good - but I looked for and couldn't find the 'how to measure' advice on the website before buying. And of course, there are no shops stocking the bras anywhere near to me. So I bought what I thought was the right size. It was only AFTER I had received the bra that they sent me an email with a youtube video and link on how to correctly measure and check the fitting of the Shock Absorber bra 'now it has arrived' With lots of advice on what would indicate the need to go up or down a size. All very lovely - till you realise they don't do exchanges, you have to buy a new one and return the badly fitting one AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE - and it may take 21 days to process the refund. Considering how much producers save by not having to pay shop rent and business rates, or pay commission to shops stocking their produce, I find the way consumers have to pay to send something back because it is unsuitable deepy unfair.”

“Very disappointed that 1) the size was incredibly small, both band and cup size were way too small 2) no option to arrange an exchange, but that aside have no idea what size to order to get the right fit and 3) my email to Customer Care sent a week ago is unanswered.”

“Good Bra but unfortunately the sizing was off to the point it wouldn’t even do up ( despite having many bras in this size and following the size chart ) . Disappointing given I then had to pay to return it .”

“I still have not received my order. I am also waiting for a reply from customer service to tell me where it is? Its a shame I cannot track the order myself? But I could not find a way to do so. I love this brand but I wish this process had been better. Ps I did appreciate the explanation for sizes to buy very good. I hope the bras fit when they arrive.”

“This is a extremely small made bra. I knew to size up (biggest they have) but i think anyone bigger than an 8/10 would struggle to get into this bra. Such a shame as lovely bra and you can tell its well made but essentially useless for the average person not a 8/10.”

“Measured myself and ordered according to the size chart and advice to go up a band size on certain bras but when they arrive they were massive in the cup and generous in the band. I normally wear 36F I ordered 36/38 F but am returning both as they are so big. I won’t be ordering more to to find my size as it’s not free returns either. Disappointed as was really looking forward to a pretty sports bra in my size .”

“I was surprised that no free return or exchange service is offered. It is surely understood by you that buying a bra online is not as easy as an in-person fit & purchase. I had to pay for postage to return my bra which didn't quite fit and I am unable to be sent another in exchange so I've given up. It seems like the women needs who buy your products are not understood by Shock absorber. Linette”

“The quality of the bra itself seems good however I followed the sizing guide 100% and the fit is way too big so can’t comment on the support. I am 36” around the chest and 42” bust (making sure the tape measure was straight and not too tight or too loose). I went with a 38E as advised on the chart so am returning, and having to pay to return so losing money, not very happy.”
