“I purchased a shed online. When looking at the dimensions of the shed, the height measurement was covered by a floating bullet point list and I assumed it would be a reasonable height as it was 8x6. After purchasing, I went on the link and it showed the measurement of 5"3. It's no problem as they say you can have a refund within 14 days. I have tried calling them twice, the first time I got through to someone after 40minutes and instead of resolving this over the call, he told me to email. I got a response asking for the order number, no reply. I try to call back and I can't get through to anyone after another 50mins of waiting. Absolutely ridiculous that this company is impossible to get hold of, especially when I could have just been helped on the phone earlier. I've wasted need 2 hours of my day trying to get this resolved being left on a dialing tone. 1 star experience.”

“paid £1675.00 for shed it was delivered and was damaged and poorly made turns out it comes from a diffrent supplier spent best part of a hour trying to contact them with the phone just ringing when someone Answered we said we want to send it back had to wait a week for them to pick it up and a week later still no contact about refund tried ringing today the phone just kept ringing for a hour again and didnt get no answer shocking service would not recomend”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID. POOR SERVICE EVEN WORSE PRODUCT Every panel on the shed damaged when delivered, driver didn’t call like requested and I’d expect that’s down to them knowing the shed was damaged and I’d have rejected the delivery.”

“I phoned Sheds.co.uk and spoke directly to a sales rep explaining our requirements. He assured me that the shed would be delivered within their standard 7 day lead time. I placed the order and paid online on the 10th of June. I subsequently received an email to say that the earliest slot for delivery is the 26th of June. This is incredibly frustrating and I am very dissappointed. I also paid for the installation service which I was told would typically be 2-3 weeks from date of delivery. I am now bracing myself for a further let down.”

“Less than a year since I bought the Adley shed from this company and the shed is warping and roof disintegrating. Shed was built on a base and treated as per advice. It has no moisture resistance whatever despite what the listing says. Floor is starting to rot in places. It didn’t look anywhere near as nice as the pictures in the first place but it was a shed for practical reasons so I overlooked this. Very disappointed with the quality for the price.”

“Ordered 2 sheds and bases. Requested small truck for access. Bases sent via post and 2 sheds arrived on long haul lorry who couldn't get as close as they wanted. If we want sheds we have to organise delivery from bottom of estate ourselves. No suggestions. Sent me a link to white glove delivery service showing smaller truck and work with retailers but cannot help 're delivery or any extra costs. We have to find someone. Drivers did not have a trolley for us to even walk the sheds to our garden. Very let down.. If we want sheds we have to get delivered ourselves by someone local at our own expense. Also mow have to wait another 2 weeks if we want to go ahead. Very upset and disappointed at over 2k spend and no real support other than a sorry on the phone. May be best to buy local. They also now want 30.00 charge to collect 2 bases from our home.”

“We were looking for two sheds to replace an old shed in the garden. We needed two sheds of the same make and design, but of different sizes. I needed 1 Shed 12' x 7' and 1 shed 6' x 7' to fit an existing footprint. This was very difficult to achieve, due to the way that the website sets things out. Every time I try to filter options the site throws you back to the original search. This made for a very confusing journey when looking for "Holt Shed - Pent Roof- X x Y". To make matters worse, when searching for a 7x 5 shed unless I checked, the actual dimensions are off. You had to go into the product of each Shed which then states that a 2 door 7 x 5 shed is actually 7' 11"! The same shed, with same manufacturer, with 1 door is 7' 2"! Having placed my order, I realised that I'm now dealing with "DIY Sheds", so saw no evidence that Sheds.co.uk was acting as an agent for other shed providers (and I assume adding some profit on along the way?). The email from "DIY Sheds" promised delivery within 1 - 3 days with a further contact to confirm date and time. FIVE days later, I have heard nothing and don't have my sheds. I have had to place my installer on standby and he has already had to find other work for the Friday, that we originally planned based on the delivery "promise".”

“The shed is of poor quality with holes on the wood, when having the shed assembled it was poorly fitting and needed alterations there are gaps between the roof and the sides, for a £700 shed utterly disgusted holes on every panel, sold to a 91 year old lady”

“Liars and thieves. Wrong timber was delivered, including the size label being detached. Refused return or refund. Avoid unless you want to be ripped off. 40x40mm delivered not 2"x2". Was told this is a normal size variation when 'plained'. total BS.”

“Although ordering was easy via the website, the delivery 5-10 days was just not accurate 23 days for first delivery date notification via a no reply email and no reply text message 3 days before delivery. I had to google the tracking company for a contact number in an attempt to change the date. In my opinion this is no5 good enough.”

“Purchased a shed online… all ok so far!… Then i decided (12hr later)a larger shed was needed so I voice called “sheds.co.uk” and order exactly the same but larger….and paid extra charge to “Ben” over the phone, with the credit card. I asked if that full and total price with free shipping? And Ben said “YES” So imagine my surprise when several hours later, I received an email saying that order had been stopped because I had not paid enough money ,due to…. Ben of Sheds .Co making an error in costing of the larger shed. When I pointed out that it was their mistake and I had double checked with them the cost…. The reply from Ben was …….”we’ve cancelled your order” Stuart Perth.”

“Very disappointed with my purchase Rowlinson Softwood Adirondack Companion Seat. It was not delivered in its original package and it was obviously an ex display item. No numbering on the wood parts and the screws etc all throw together in a plastic bag. There is mould on two chair backs and seats along with discolouration of the wood making it mismatched.”

“Quality is poor. Luckily the shed was erected by an experienced person and he could align the warped wood panels. Can't see it lasting long. Very disappointed, can not recommend.”

“Product itself isn’t really fit for purpose. Flimsy wood that doesn’t fit together properly. Dreadful customer service and after sales treatment, that’s from both the manufacturer and website team too. Do not buy Mercia products.”

“I had a terrible experience and will never use this company again. I received a poor quality set of decking tiles which I sent photos of. Initially I was very impressed with the customer service, who told me they were very sorry and there would be a refund. They rang back to say they wouldn’t be collecting as it wasn’t cost efficient for them so I disposed of the tiles at my own inconvenience. however nearly 3 weeks later I am still waiting for a refund and now being told the manufacturer is going to collect and then they will refund… this is a mess. Avoid this company”
