“Very good service by scaffolding direct but very disappointed with the delivery driver that left my package on the drive we have no porch and failed to follow any of the instructions given on the delivery for my safe location for the parcel”

“Easy to order, great choice of products - have used them before. Only negative on this occasion is that there was quite a variation in the surface quality/finish, previously the hand rails have been quite shiny/clean only needing a wipe down to remove the oil, but this time the surface wasn't the best - luckily it's not for anything thats too visually important, but would be annoying if it was.”

“Scaffolding direct seemed to have a pretty tidy website containing a fair amount of useful information. I was able to contact them easily to query details about ordering. The online ordering was straightforward, and the ordering and delivery of order proceeded easily as described.”

Hi Geoff, Thank you for your review. The product that you have ordered (Spigot Base Plate), is designed to provide a flat surface for your scaffold tubes and to give an even distribution of weight when used as part of a scaffolding structure. The spigot is just meant to centre the scaffold tubes, therefore does not need a larger diameter than it already has. “not totally impressive, to be honest. I ordered swivel base jacks and spigot base plates. The base jacks that arrived were 'fixed' (ie non-swivel) and one of the the spigot base plates looked like someone had driven over it. I will say, though, that the problem with the base jacks was dealt with swiftly (by Kamal). I never bothered to mention the crushed spigot base plate - it wasn't worth it for the sake of 50p.”
