“Delivery time was twice that predicted on website. Delivery charge very high but the person delivering was excellent, carrying all the materials to the back garden. Materials as described but not as yet assembled.”

Hi Colin, Thank you for your review. I apologise for the lateness of your delivery. We had been waiting on timber to be delivered from our mill, as we had ran out of stock. Timber in general has been in quite short supply nationwide due to many mills closing over the Covid situation. Once it was delivered to us, we still had a large backlog of timber orders to despatch and we got to your order as quickly as we were able. “The item I was looking to purchase was out of stock, the staff offered to contact me when this was back in stock. A few weeks later when it was back in stock I received a call and I was able to complete my purchase and I'm very happy with the product. I've not had customer service like this in years. I would definitely recommend this company.”

I can see that we despatched your order 6 working days after you placed it, actually beating the time advertised on our website of 7-10 working days. Your order confirmation also stated that we would despatch the order in 7-10 working days, and to give us a call if you required it sooner than that. “Great service for a big order! Speedy delivery (due to urgency). Great site for budget preparation and execution. New bits were perfect. Used material came in good state. Very professional phone and mail assistance. Just a note: Some of the prices in the site are tricky to figure out. One should check the price/amount before making a budget because it can be misleading.”

“Good product, easy ordering process, advance notice of delivery. One slight issue - I knew I was going to be away so I clearly stated for the package to be placed on a bin beside my garage. On returning I found the package on my front doorstep, albeit largely hidden by pot plants.”

“Product was delivered on time as promised and as described. Price was excellent but, understandably due to its weight, the postage was higher than the low cost of the product. But would certainly use Scaffolding Direct again.”
