“I felt it was a very engging forst aid course with a hugely enthusiastic trainer .However we did notyget throughall elements --such as drowning ,burns ,sepsis and mningitis all of which are very relevant especially to nursery children .But I feelthat she really was excellent at what was taught If you are training again in the Town hall (THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT ) Please ask for an upstairs room with wind0ws as 7 and a half hours in a basement with no natural light was stressful”

Hello Claire, we hope you're well Thanks so much for taking the time to post your feedback; we're delighted that you enjoyed your training (albeit without a window, which we have taken on board!) With reference to the topics that were not covered which you felt would have been beneficial; obviously it's not possible to cover everything in one day and some of the subjects you mentioned specifically - drowning, sepsis, meningitis etc - are not part of the standard Paediatric First Aid syllabus. If you are interested in covering this content, you could consider completing the First Aid at Work training (https://www.safeandsound.uk.net/product/three-day-first-aid-at-work/), which will address all of these topics. “I really enjoyed the First Aid Blended course carried out by Jeannie. The practical part of it was very informative, useful , simple to understand and coach was making sure that everyone get everyting right and understood the content. She approached everybody to make sure each of us correctly do eg: CPR or Back blows. Thank you.”

“Fabulous Blended EFAW course - first part elearning going through what you need to know in your own time, preparing you for the next part of the course. 2nd part face to face with the brilliant Caroline Heaney who explained everything clearly and used her wealth of knowledge to help and guide you through each part so you come out feeling confident that you can help someone in a first aid emergency!”
