“If you could create on your website something to discuss delivery options. For myself I was concerned about my delivery arriving on a date when there would be nobody to receive it and 2 arrangements were made independent of each other. This resulted in the items being delivered too soon. A fairly expensive order was left propped up against my house which was exactly the risk I had tried to avoid. This suggests poor communication between sales and dispatch but could be mitigated given an option to request delivery under certain circumstances. Thanks however for the customer service i did receive and the ease of access to the products I needed. The delivery received and in good order.”

“I puchased a replacement wheelbarrow wheel for a Walsall wheelbarrow (code WWPP). However, the adapters supplied with the wheel apparently need to be hammered into the hub (There were no instructions to do this and I only became aware of the need to do this when I called customer services) When hammered in as suggested, it made the effective hub length 11.4 cms compared to the stated length of 10cms. This extra 1.4cms meant that the wheel did not fit the frame and I had to cut 0.7cms off each of the adapters to allow for correct fitment. This should be rectified as soon as possible as other prospective purchasers may make the same error. The photo on the website shows a slightly different wheel to the one supplied and the adaptors look very different to the ones which appear to have already been installed in the website photo. Overall, I was pleased with the response from customer services but the product placement needs clarifying in my opinion. Delivery was prompt and fuss free.”

“Ordered some braked castors for tv unit being made. Product fine but 2 week delayed delivery. Order & payment taken promising 2 day turnaround. After 4 days chased customer service who said item would be dispatched immediately & received in 2 days. Then received another call to say item was in fact out of stock. Item arrived a week later”

“When I ordered castors, were showing as in stock but after paying and waiting a while, did a chat and found they would be 3 months. This hadn't been communicated to me. Asked again after 3 months. Told another week, had a call to say the following week. I had to chase again and they did arrive. Made in China stamped on them so that explains delay. When I originally spoke to them they did change there site to reflect that these were a specialist order. Love the industrial castors though. Exactly what I wanted.”

“Be careful about ordering online as payment will be taken even if goods can't be supplied for a few months! Always call them to check stock and order by phone call.”

“I bought a set of five castors for an office chair. When the package arrived there were only 3 castors enclosed. I sent a message and photos to Ross asking them to send the rest of the order. After a few days, I emailed them again as I had heard nothing. This time I got a reply very quickly and the castors arrived the next day.”

“3 out of 5 due to the 22mm square feet being too shallow at approx 5mm. This would wear down within a couple of years, needs to be thicker”

“If you return goods you don’t get the carriage charge plus vat , so you dont get all your money back. Had to prove had sent parcel to them.”

“Service was good-but I bought the wrong castors (they look very similar). Sadly I had to go to another company to buy the actual ones I needed-ROSS did not have them -close but not the right ones.”

“Ross castors were quick and efficient, a pity we couldn't say the same about their courier, DPD. The courier driver delivered to completely the wrong address and signed my name himself. Suggest you revise your contract as we had to go and fetch them and make 4 trips of 2 miles per trip.”

“We were sent the wrong tyres and did not get the best of customer service response expected, had to ring 5 times to get it sorted, despite promises of a call back. We did in the end get the correct tyres thanks to Tim. But could do a lot better.”

“The Barrow wheel we purchased was very good but unfortunately they use DPD for delivery. Original driver simply pushed the (unsigned) "we missed you" card through the letterbox without trying the doorbell.”
