“My review is concerned with my recent purchases of two pairs of 'Pioneer" trousers. I had been buying Rohan trousers for at least twenty years. But I had found better ones until I tried the 'Pioneer' They have ample and strong side pockets (these always having been a point of failure), Good leg pockets, a belt that does get twisted, great hard wearing fabric that so far is great in hot and cold temperatures.”

“The clothing is priceless, I have worn little else in the last thirty years. I always seem to be able to find something that I like, and I am always delighted with the quality. For sure, it is not cheap, on the other hand it lasts for years, decades even. A once favourite walking jacket, is now a gardening jacket, 25 years after I bought it. One small complaint, delivery has long been by the fabulous DPD. One hour delivery slots, constant updates, and always a personal handover, of often expensive packages. Now it is delivery by Amazon. Three hour time slot. A quick knock on the door, and by the time I open the door the van has gone. And if I'm out. Well that's tough the parcel is simply left. The driver has no idea whether I'm in or not anyway. The final irony being that if I actually bought the clothes from Amazon, this dreadful delivery would at least be free. Here I have to pay for it.”

“I am very pleased with all the Rohan purchases I have made ,I am also pleased with the way I'm kept informed of delivery my only issue is with the delivery charge the price of the Rohan gear is high enough without having to pay for delivery”

“There seem to have been some changes to Rohan style and quality; I could always rely on an item fitting properly when ordered online but have had to return recent items which differed in size. Also, quality on some items does not seem as good as usual.”

“Generally great but I have just a few quibbles re design. More zipped pockets on my last trouser purchase for example. The best Jacket I ever bought from you is a cream smart casual job I purchased circa 1988 and still wash and wear (I tried to attach a picture below but can't see it! If only you had updated that instead of bringing out 'improved' versions. But- you do what you say.”

“The boots were awful, I normally take size 8 so I bought 8.5 wide so I could wear thicker socks. They were tight and very stiff, terrible quality. I spoke to your Customer Services about you taking the £10 gift card off the boots refund price even though there were two other items which I kept. I was told that it was a voucher and not a Gift Card as it is stated on the card!”
