About Riverside:

The Riverside Garden Centre has been established since 1997 and is owned and run by Russell and Jo Jeffery who take a very hands-on approach to every aspect of the business. They are always on hand to help and give advice.

Having moved away from being a more traditional garden centre over recent years and evolved into a modern outdoor living destination, Riverside now focuses more on quality and style than it ever did before.

LARGEST WEBER® WORLD BBQ SHOWROOM

Officially the UK's largest Weber® World Barbecue showroom Riverside stocks and displays every Weber® barbecue and accessory available from the small, portable charcoal models, the award winning Q™ range as well as the famous charcoal kettles and outstanding gas barbecues. As a World Store Riverside also stocks a number of exclusive barbecues and accessories not found in regular Weber® stores or outlets.

TRAEGER GRILLS

With the popularity of barbecuing and outdoor smoking growing at a phenomenal rate Riverside has become the 'go to' place for Traeger grills, pellets and accessories. Easier to use than a traditional barbecue a Traeger grill controls the cooking temperature for you and produces perfectly smoked food every time.

We are delighted with our product. However, we were extremely disappointed that the delivery was (initially) to the front door only. The driver used a trolley to take the very heavy goods from the lorry to our home -- how we were supposed to get them to the garden (30ft down a side path) without it was not made clear. In the event, I asked if I could use the trolley myself (given there was no other way of moving the boxes from the front door) and instead, the driver wheeled the boxes to the garden himself. To those who make these seemingly arbitrary and not-thought-out regulations: re-think this policy! If you are going to deliver very heavy goods, OUTDOORS, even during Covid, deliver them to the garden -- most ordinary people do not have access to trolleys, neither can they carry or move such heavy goods.

Unable to give a review as not received goods yet order placed 4th April with 5 to 10 day delivery didn’t hear anything by the 16th only to be told on back order and not now until beginning or mid may advised that you need to update your website accordingly but on checking today can still order

The items received (parasol, base and cover) were all excellent. It was the delivery that spoiled the show. We were told it would be in two parts anytime between 8am and 6pm and that someone would need to be in to accept delivery. The parasol base arrived via pallet line early on but TNT didn’t arrive until 6:30pm. Also TNT had no tracking data. Most other delivery companies can do better than this with tighter time slots real time tracking.

The grill came damaged. I’m still waiting for the Riverside team to sort it out with Weber and replace the grill. Already been calling and emailing them every week. Still no replacement on week 3. And of course they blame The Weber for the delay

I haven't purchased a Weber - only entered raffle!! Thinking of buying one now but your response to product questions is poor Just feel I am being a nuisance asking questions! Pity

Products bought were fine, what can go wrong with Weber charcoal? Delivery was an issue. Paid for next day delivery but didn’t arrive for four, missing the planned bbq. Disappointing! Did bring this to their attention but no resolution, they blamed the courier. But the courier told me they didn’t receive package until day of delivery! Amazon Prime next time I think.

Item delivered (£700 weber bbq) promptly and price was excellent. Sadly item is broken and gas cuts out intermittently. Issue has been referred to Weber but no resolution to date.

Happy with the product, but the company is let down by its poor communication. I sent them an email as the item was not delivered when it should of been and I am still waiting for a response.

The Riverside website is ok, but personally I find it a bit "busy". Most of the pages have a lot of information and it is difficult to know where to go to for specific services. The one I use most frequently is the prescriptions. this is a case in point. Instead of going directly to your online repeat prescription service, you first have to decide which of the 7 options on the Prescriptions Index page is relevant. It is not clear whether you should use NHS App, livi, SystmOnline or electronic subscriptions service. etc. to do your repeat. Presenting so many options makes it less helpful. You just have to know this. Now that I know what I need to use its fine. In general i think you have tried to put too much information on each page and the overall result is a bit overwhelming.

Not sure what i can review at this point.. I recently received the BBQ after some delay, and have just discovered that it is in many many bits and pieces ,to be assembled, of which I was not aware at the time of purchase..!..a real bummer..I hate it. Spending almost a £1000.- and then having to put it together...? Not for me, had I known it I would not have ordered. I hope my gardener is up to it...if not..what then? I don't know.

After a disappointing email telling me the product had been oversold in smoke grey and was out of stock (and that I couldn’t swap for a different colour of my choice which was frustrating), I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call to say that one had become available. More disappointment when the item arrived badly damaged. However in fairness the issue has been very quickly resolved by Weber and I am now very happy with my purchase. I had used Riverside many times before this purchase and will continue to do so.

Nice gloves but a little on the small side. Iv not got big hand by any means. Have to say my B&Q set for £1 are just as good I’m not better.

Mixed results. Things were VERY delayed and I know that was not their fault. But I was repeatedly given dates which passed by and I only got updates when I chased which became very frustrating. So let down by communication. But always helpful when I emailed or called. And products were fine once delivered.
