About Riverside:

The Riverside Garden Centre has been established since 1997 and is owned and run by Russell and Jo Jeffery who take a very hands-on approach to every aspect of the business. They are always on hand to help and give advice.

Having moved away from being a more traditional garden centre over recent years and evolved into a modern outdoor living destination, Riverside now focuses more on quality and style than it ever did before.

LARGEST WEBER® WORLD BBQ SHOWROOM

Officially the UK's largest Weber® World Barbecue showroom Riverside stocks and displays every Weber® barbecue and accessory available from the small, portable charcoal models, the award winning Q™ range as well as the famous charcoal kettles and outstanding gas barbecues. As a World Store Riverside also stocks a number of exclusive barbecues and accessories not found in regular Weber® stores or outlets.

TRAEGER GRILLS

With the popularity of barbecuing and outdoor smoking growing at a phenomenal rate Riverside has become the 'go to' place for Traeger grills, pellets and accessories. Easier to use than a traditional barbecue a Traeger grill controls the cooking temperature for you and produces perfectly smoked food every time.

FURNITURE SHOWROOMS

Riverside likes to do things big and that includes their furniture ranges too.

With three large fully furnished showrooms bursting with big names including 4 Seasons Outdoor and Alexander Rose Riverside again offers the largest displays of both prestige brands anywhere to be seen in the UK. Be it dining, lounge or modular, virtually every product and set is on display and in stock at the Hertfordshire premises.

SILK PLANTS AND ARTIFICIAL WALL COVERING

To complement the furniture and outdoor living themes Riverside also specialise in high quality artificial plants and trees as well as UV protected foliage-covered screening panels. Particularly popular with interior designers, hotel chains and zoos Riverside's silks plants and wall panels have developed a good reputation both corporately and domestically.

The product is excellent, however I had to call to confirm the order after two days not hearing anything. I was told due to system changes their have been glitches. Once the order was confirmed the dispatched very quickly, but next the courier used never turned up after I waited in all day.. I called the courier the next day as lines closed whilst I was waiting in their queue and was told it will come out the next working day. I was needed in the office and so I ended up collecting the BBQ from their warehouse. The box had been battered and so I was forced to open fully and build immediately to make sure there wasn't any damage or bits missing. All in all, the BBQ looks and feels excellent, but my experience was less desired.

Item was perfect and delivery was quick. Unfortunately there was no warning that the item would be delivered in it's own box, with no transiting box. Whilst I applaud this environmentally, I would have preferred this to be made known so I could arrange delivery for a specific day. As it was my, husband took the package on the one day he works from home and was presented with his Christmas gift, 10 days before Christmas. So just be aware if it's a gift for someone in your household that items may be on display when delivered.

Ordered a Weber Fireplace (fire pit), cover and bag of logs. Despatch was within a couple of days, and I was kept informed of order progress throughout. The downside was that they omitted to include the cover. I then had to contact customer services several times in order to rectify. After several days they admitted the fault was on their part (having checked the CCTV in their shipping dept.) and refunded the cost of the cover back to me, as they no longer had any stock.

Since receiving the new steak grill unfortunately the cover hasn't come off the BBQ. I will submit a review when the weather improves.

Riverside were efficient and prompt in processing my order, however DPD needed three attempts to deliver it.

The fixings suppled with the chairs were unfortunately what we would expect from Alexandra rose the heads of the screws easily damaged when trying to fix into position the delivery was excellent

In the past Riverside was negotiable on pricing and general customer relations. Since the passing of Russel the ethos of the company has changed. Customer satisfaction is no longer a priority! Great pity!! There are many owner companies who value customer loyalty!

The purchase of your Weber BBQ cover was promptly delivered for my Weber Genius II - But although it was a Weber cover in a Weber box stating it was for the Genius II and this cover appears to do the job - but does not fit the BBQ fully & I'm thinking this may be a cover for a smaller Weber BBQ put in the wrong box - I did not report it due to the fact I needed to cover my BBQ due to weather conditions to replace my old cover - but Its definitely to small for it to fit my BBQ correctly

Sent water damaged box, WHY!!!! this should not have been dispatched as it was without checking the contents for water ingress. Bbq lid water stained but managed to clean most of it off, however still a small stain left. Wanted it urgently for a birthday party so had no time to send it back.

Hi, delivered by TNT who give no notice when or when they are delivering, pure luck I was at home. A very strange delivery company to use. I ticked " No " to delivered on time as no time was given by TNT.

The package arrived very promptly and, in general, I'm extremely pleased with the BBQ. There was a small amount of damage to the fixed handle bracket which was bent out of shape with a small, circular break in the finish inside. I've straightened the bracket but obviously can't repair the damaged porcelain. I don't think this was caused by the courier as the bracket faced inward in the packaging.

I chose to order a Weber Master Touch from Riverside prior to the Jubilee Weekend as I saw that they had next day delivery (and I wanted to use it for that weekend. I got confirmation of the delivery time from the parcel service and was looking forward to getting it. BUT it didn't come. And there was no information from Riverside (apart from that it hadn't left their side) despite me leaving messages on their website. The day after it was due to arrive the site changed its notifications stating that there would be a delay in delivery - I then got notification that it would arrive on the Saturday - which thankfully it did. However, the packaging was damaged when it arrived - fortunately, there was only a slight dent to the weber chimney I ordered and the BBQ itself was fine. The item itself is absolutely fine but I was very disappointed not to have a reply or notification when the delivery was delayed and only finding out that there were delays when I actively looked myself.
