“I had been looking to tak ea Douro River Cruise for some years. But the cost always put me off as it was so expensive. But I was alerted by the Riviera Travel brochure and simultaneously an online alert that there were available some cruises where there was no suplement for single cabin occupancy. With the help of the internet, I was able to form an opinion on the quality of the ship and over the Easter weekend I was able to book an August 2015 cruise which meets all my requirements. It will be 4 months before I take the cruise, so it is difficult to form a total opinion at this time. But the booking process was totally aggravation-free. Stewart Reuben”

“Donna was very helpful in selecting our holiday and also did her best to try and help with the seating in the coach by ringing back later informing us that we could reserve seating in the front 3 rows of the coach by paying a little extra as my husband is 80 years old and we required easy accessfor getting on and off the coach. “Excellent booking service, Emma Gray our cruise concierge, was extremely helpful in finding us a cabin on the Rhine discovery river cruise. We wanted to meet up with friends from Canada who already had a reservation on the Viking longship Ksvasir. This she managed to do for us even though it was a late booking and only one cabin left. Not to sure about how we will feel with being partly below the waterline and a tiny window but will find out very soon! If the trip is as good as the booking experience it will be great.”
