“I would highly recommend Richardson and starling, I am delighted with the every aspect of the service. From the initial survey undertaken by Melvin, I felt I was getting honest professional advice. Darren who undertook the work was prompt, polite and excellent at his job. He was very patient with all my silly questions, and extremely knowledgeable about the issue and the remediation required.”

“Getting flat roof replaced, I warned Richardson & Starling that I would probably need woodworm treatment. This was apparent when the old roof was removed. R&S managed to get a surveyor out within a couple of hours in the early afternoon and he confirmed treatment was needed. As the roofers needed to get on with the job, time was critical. R&S sent me a quote by email later in the afternoon, and when I accepted they arranged for an operative to do the job the next morning, fitting in the treatment with the roofers' activities. Wonderful service from R&S (Sarah (office), Steven (surveyor) and Neil (operative). I cannot reccomend them too highly.”

“We had Evan from the Dumfries branch help resolve our issue with woodworm and replace a rafter . We couldn't be happier with the work that was carried out. Evan worked efficiently with no mess and minimum disruption from when he arrived until he finished. He was polite and professional and kept us updated on how things were progressing. Sharing photos of the completed job was really helpful. Would certainly recommend Richardson & Starling.”

“Doing our damp-proofing work was always going to be a messy job, but the staff were very well organised and kept mess to a minimum - much less than I'd feared.”

“Everyone was very helpful. They attended when they said they would and explained what needed to be done. it was all confirmed by email quickly. The work was carried out efficiently. The men found a leak I did not know was there and took photos for me. I highly recommend Richardson & Starling.”

“I’ve was very impressed by the work undertaken by the Glasgow branch of Richardson and Starling. The surveyor, Roddy, clearly outlined the work to be done, which was effectively undertaken by the technical team. If required, I would not hesitate to seek their help for any future work.”

“Mr Niven came and told me what needed to be done. He emailed it that afternoon. The office was efficient in fixing a time for the work. Murdo and Michael came and found that a roof repair had not been done properly by another company. They took a video and told me about it. That was so helpful as I would not have known. They completed their work. I found everyone helpful pleasant and efficient.”

“DUMFRIES BRANCH, two very pleasant young men carried out a very extensive damp proofing couse to the whole of my wall today. Evan and Chris were very professional, friendly, polite and caring. They did an excellent job and cleanded up after themselves. Very kind young men.”

“Guys turned up on time that was said done all the work at a very high standard and I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done .plus I would just like to say a very good thankyou to Daniel and grant for the top quality of work I was more than happy with it and left myself with a very dry and beautiful bathroom. “From the initial survey to completion I received an excellent service from the Aberdeen branch. Sarah Angus, Administrator, organised all appointments and the ensured the various tradesmen were able to access my property at the right time despite the remit of the job changing mid job. Sarah kept in touch at all times and the communication was second to none. Due to finding more issues with my wall Steven Mcleavy, Senior Surveyor, had to think in his feet and come up, with a new plan very quickly in order that the job could continue without any days being missed which was greatly appreciated. Davie and Callum were excellent - arriving on time every morning and they worked hard with minimal disruption to myself. Also - excellent clean up job guys.”
