Redmans did 'a job' I represented a group of approx 5 individuals requiring the same service and encouraged them to signup with Redmans The signup procedure was online/email and smooth However - There was only one question asked and Chris Hadrill committed on more than one occasion to provide relevant advice by way of e-mail He then stopped responding to my calls. His delegate (Sacha Barrett) indicated the nature of the question was outside the 'scope' I provided feedback at the time to delegate outlining my irritation regarding the disingenuous nature of the engagement suggesting Chris contact me (he did not) So - 'a job' was completed - but would not recoomend if you require 'honest' engagement.

I was recommended Redman's by a friend, however, would not recommend them myself. Unfortunately, I found that my lawyer did 'fight' or sufficiently negotiate for me in the way I would have expected for the fees that were charged. He failed to even negotiate increased legal expenses payable by the company, so I have been hit with a huge bill - with nothing/no positive impact to show for it. I got constantly reminded that 'in my situation' (4 months pregnant and being made redundant), that I probably didn't need the stress. This is true, but I hoped Redmands would alleviate that stress by negotiating on my behalf - but I found Redmans added stress, by being very delayed in their responses to me and my former employer in negotiations, and also not achieving any of the negotiation points I wanted. Upon Redman's advice, I submitted a grievance to my employer, which only served to aggravate them and prolong the already dubious redundancy process - and resulted in a poor outcome for me. I also had to ask my employer for extensions to sign, because of the poor response time from Redmans.

Redmans were referred to me by a friend to assist with an employment matter that was not only unexpected but also emotionally draining. The lawyer that was assigned to my case, was very unhelpful, had to be prompted mutiple times, did not follow my clear instructions and was overall disappointing. This was my first experience dealing with Solicitors and legal agreements and at no point was I made to feel reassured or understood.

Things to improve: - My solicitor only worked 4 days/week and that delayed the process. I also was not informed or given noticed about her limited availability - I chose to deal with my employer directly to minimize hours charged and despite that I was charged the maximum price, so feel I was overcharged

The service started off well. I believe once the business had been secured, there was complacency and very poor service. I was constantly chasing and they did not return calls. I would not recommend Redmans to anyone - in fact I have encouraged people Not to use this company.

I didn't really get any practical help or useful advice on my situation beyond what I could myself understand from reading the contract. I was hoping for much more practical insight and experienced advice on the enforceability of the non-compete agreement to help me decide on a course of action. What I got was instead the "letter of the law", which felt like a waste of money, since I could understand that myself clearly from the contract. I've since gotten very different input from friends/former colleagues who've seen similar situations in companies where they worked previously. I'm sorry to say I won't be recommending Redman's for employment and contract law matters to any people who ask me.

Didn't follow up on the signing of my second settlement agreement which meant a delay of a month in me getting paid out. Not impressed
