About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“Beautiful bed. Always had orvis before but really pleased with how this looks. Unfortunately we are having to protect the wool base with a fleece as our naughty puppy digs and pulls the wool off, but am hoping as she gets older that stops. Not washed yet but hoping it washes well”

“I have a 3year old dachshund. He loves lying stretched out on his back. The Red Dog mattress has proved to be the ideal solution. The bed is very well made, topped with a lovely soft and warm pure wool topping. He is a very fussy little dog, but has loved this bed from the get-go. Many thanks.”

“I was so pleased to find a GB manufacturer of top end dog beds! The bonus is that they are as practical as they are luxurious. With 17 (I know……!) working dogs ranging in age from 12 months to 14 years, and in size from a Patterdale x JRT to a rather large lurcher, I needed a company that could deliver for everyone. I have not been disappointed. From the large dog mat, through the large bed-roll to the 100% British wool fleece vet bed, everything is well thought out, well-designed and well made. Well done!”

“Friends visited me twice with their GSP and his roll mat - twice my dogs have tried to claim it as their own; it was time to rectify this situation! Today two roll mats arrived and both dogs seem very happy with the them. They’ll be ideal for traveling and also as additional beds when at home. I like the British tweed and pure wool fleece - great products.”

“We've had this bed for nearly a year and wanted to test properly before reviewing. Can honestly say it's money very well spent. It still looks brand new despite daily dousing of sand and /or mud and the cushion is still supporting his joints and hasn't sunk at all like other beds. So great to find a quality dog bed that caters to bigger dogs. I'd be first in queue if they ever do a giant nest bed.”

“Our Red Fox Lab adores her roll matt. It was purchased for use on holidays, but after she tested it at home it has become a permanent feature in our kitchen. The lovely fabric is both very comfortable (including for our young children who have taken to lying with her) and looks great! Will certainly be recommending to others!”

“Excellent service. The roll mat I order came within a couple of days. It is beautifully made and my Retriever Ted, absolutely loves it! It will be so useful for taking on holiday instead of his full size bed. The orange colour is not as bright as shown on the website - more a burnt orange / rust colour, but still very nice.”

“Top quality products from The Red Dog. • Our new Welsh Springer Spaniel puppy Harris's new roll-up bed is very well made and will be great for taking on trips etc. it's stylish as well so looks good when down. Lead looks great, well made and sturdy although our small pup is not quite ready for its use. We are very pleased with our purchases and thrilled that they are all made in Britain!”

“I purchased a roll mat for my Bedlington terrier and slowly she is using it in equal amounts to her bed. Have not had to make a return but would not expect any problem based on speedy processing from warehouse etc. Essentially ordering was easy and hassle free. I find the delivery price somewhat excessive for a single item as I don't see any difference in courier from other companies. Product is very well produced and exceeds ones expectation of British manufacture ...in other words a truly well made article§”
