About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“Pepper, our miniature schnauzer, very quickly settled in her new Red Dog bed. The medium size is perfect, offering support and room for the various schnauzer ‘poses’ she adopts when sleeping. The quality materials and generously-padded sides provide a sense of security and luxury. Best bed she has ever had!”

“We are delighted with the slip lead that we bought from Red Dog Company. We had tried a few slip leads but disappointed with the quality of them. The RDC slip lead is very strong and yet light to handle. Beautiful workmanship. Finally, we were impressed with the outstanding customer care from Chris. Winnie loves the lead and the adventures it takes her on. 💛🐾💛”

“My name is Tess Jenkins and I am a puppy. I am growing up fast and I was fed up of sleeping on a lumpy bed! After I've been playing ball on the beach I like to snuggle and stretch out my paws. Then my new bed arrived.........wow it's amazing. I can stretch out and curl up, no more lumps and bumps and guess what it doesn't smell anymore. My name is Tess Jenkins and I am a very happy puppy. “Hi Nelly is enjoying her bed but the wool is coming off big time. Not sure if this is normal or not?? Love the quality of the bed though.”

We are delighted that you and Nelly are pleased with your large classic tweed bed. Please do not worry about some shedding of the wool from the topper at the beginning, especially with dogs that like to “nest”. Because our toppers are made with 100% wool - the natural fibres vary slightly in length. This is similar to when a new wool carpet is first laid, you may notice balls of fluff appearing for the first few weeks. This will all calm down after a short while. The toppers are very tough, and so you should not see any impact on fleece over the longer term. Please do keep us posted. All the best The Red Dog Company

“I recently bought the XL dog bed for our dog Harry. It arrived within 48 hours after ordering. Amazing Service. Harry loves his bed and I even slept on it a couple of nights with the dog as he was recovering from a knee operation and it was very comfortable. Happy owner and dog!”

“We bought a small and a large bed in Autumn 2019. The beds are exceptionally comfortable (if the length of time they are being used for is any indication) and hard wearing - both still look like new (now April 2020). We (and the lucky users of the beds) couldn’t be happier.”

“We have an English Pointer and we have tried numerous other high end fog beds but nothing and I mean nothing compares to The Red Dog Companies dog beds. The mattress supports our dog beautifully and the wool topper makes it so comfortable for her, she’s never slept so peacefully without moving around to get comfortable. “I purchased the green roll-mat for my mini dachshund because we needed something to take with us to cafes/ restaurants for her to have a place to sit/ lay down on and she loves it! Super high quality and for once also looks nice. I find it so hard to find dog products that look nice, simple and “elegant” but are also a practical and loved by my dog! 10/10 would highly recommend”

“We purchased a medium, blue roll-mat for our four month old Labrador puppy to use for boundary training and to take with us when we visit dog friendly venues. These are high quality mats which is reflected by their price, but you definitely get what you pay for. This will last our puppy for years to come. Ordering was easy and delivery was speedy with good communication. If you are thinking about investing it might help you to know that we have been so impressed with the design and quality of the matt that we will be ordering a second one to replace what we currently use for our three year old Labrador.”

“After much looking at dog coats bought an Active Dog Coat from Red Dog. Was a good website, good correspondence and a superb product, fits our Sprocker perfectly and not only protects from rain but also her underneath when running through bushes and also being neoprene assists with buoyancy and keeps her warm. To top it all its a company that makes its products locally in UK.”

“Just received the order from you and I’m absolutely delighted well done you’ve nailed it with design and protection I’m not sure if it was your company that I spoke to a while back now because nothing like this seemed to be available at the time If it was you then you definitely listened to my dogs requirements so thought I’d like to let you know THANK YOU from a delighted dog owner and his precious little girl as my wife and daughter keep reminding me 😂 Fantastic coat just what my dog needed she’s only got a light covering of hair on the belly area which was getting heavily scratched and cut at times.shes a young Cocker Spaniel Labrador cross both parents are working dogs and she seems to have it hard wired into her because you can’t keep her out of the thicket and brambles this jacket provides excellent coverage to the required areas it’s long fit ensures full protection it’s adjustable and can be adapted to your dogs curves for those of you that have male dogs there’s an easy cut out guide so he can pee freely 😅 It also provides the dog with warmth on the cold and wet days and the added benefit is the dog is much easier to clean and dry a win win I would highly recommend this jacket and the company”

“Easy to order and quick to arrive. Our dogs love their roll mats, and from my perspective they are easy to look after and wear very well. I do wash them, but find that this is not often and far less than previous mats. Many thanks for this excellent product.”

“Clever Red Dog people! I have 2 absolutely wonderful mats (medium in kitchen, and large in sitting room), for my soulmate, Fallow, who has elbow dysplasia. She and I can’t praise these Red Dog mats enough. My only regret with them is when she chooses them to stretch out on - TOO OFTEN IN MY VIEW!! - rather than curling up on the sofa next to me. I have fallen asleep myself on the large mat a couple of times - just testing, you know ( as you do….🤣). I have had Labradors for 50 years so I have several degrees in dog beds. Red Dog beds get the Honours.”

“We purchased a single beautifully made mat which we are currently taking with us all over the Lake District. We lay it under each pub/restaurant dining table as a perfect den for our two Cockapoos. It’s got a lovely thickness to it so works well on those chilly slate floors. It also doubles as a proper bed at night in the holiday cottage so we might get another one. Given the quality of the mat we are also seriously thinking of getting new proper beds for our dogs too.”
