“So far so good with Rave’s varied selection, generous weights and fair prices after I’d become disillusioned with my long time fave premium roaster/sourcer (who, after being bought out a few years ago, now feature high prices, recently reduced weight of bags, and loss of their formerly vibrant personality) so I’ve been shopping around. Rave’s prices are at the reasonable end of high and I trust they do pay their suppliers a premium to represent genuinely good value rather than shareholder-oriented prices.
Although some of the coffees are roasted quite dark for me (the monsooned Malabar for example), I’ve really enjoyed some of their medium/light roasts. Having a five-bean scale from light to dark helps make good choices. I’m also super impressed with the decafs. (A recent Rave light roast decaf is better than anything I’ve found elsewhere and while good alone it also blends pretty well to extend my caffeinated medium roasts.)
Delivery is prompt. Packaging sensible, if occasionally a tad too loud and jolly for brutal early morning. I'd prefer sticky labels for the freezer but the stapled cards are ok. I also appreciate the offer of experimental/test roasts occasionally, and the variety of coffees overall is interesting and covers a wide range of tastes. Cautiously optimistic that Rave may become my go-to roaster, and would definitely recommend.”

“Having always ordered single origin coffee from another supplier I was reluctant to change however their delivery charges became really too much. Thought I would try Rave for similar and wasn’t disappointed. Very good single origin coffee.”

“I have given 4 stars just because of the quality of the pod. The Christmas pod itself is not made as good as the other pods. This is because the pod differs in durability in comparison to the rest of them. If you ordered this you need to be careful because the water flow through the pod can build up too quickly and can cause an issue within the nespresso machine. If this happens stop the machine because the pod can burst in there and it has done that for me before. This can be prevented if you monitor the coffee whilst it is running. This is the biggest issue with the pods and I have had to waste a couple of them because of it.
That being said the flavour of these pods is 5 stars and my absolute favourite and I would recommend because I can’t stop ordering it. It is absolutely incredible, the taste is smooth and fruity. Every time I run out I ordered them 3 times so far and still going strong. I love Rave coffee and this flavour is amazing, I would definitely recommend!”

We've found that our 250g taster packs are the ideal size for our customers to truly get to know the coffee's profile. Anything smaller, and it becomes a challenge to dial in the perfect shot on machines. We want to ensure that each customer can fully adjust their grind and technique to find the sweet spot, which, as I'm sure you can appreciate, often requires more than a single shot.

“My first 3 choices of coffee were not available so we bought another coffee this time, Signature Blend no. 1 which we haven't yet tried. The Fudge blend was just an addition to my main order and we bought just a sample 250g. I would be happier if my main choices are more available in future.”

“I got the traditional + discover whole bean packs and have been enjoying my Mexican and Brazilian beans. A good mix of roasts and origin. Works well in my aeropress and I love trying new things, so it keeps things interesting. At just under £10 a bag, the price is about right for the coffee quality.”

“After a hiccup in the system, my order was despatched promptly to arrive the next day.
Royal (Fail) Mail changed that to 48 hrs, being untruthful about the reason. After all, it's "an aim, not a guarantee." Yet again, a day of my life wasted I can't get back! Rave not to blame.
I ordered the 3 X 250gr. bags of coffee and 3 (small) 500gr. size aeroscaphe containers for storage. I also ordered the stainless steel coffee spoons with the claim that they can be stored within the individual container with the coffee. With my order as above, they don't! The dome of the spoon just stops the lid from seating properly with 250gr. coffee in situ. So, anyone ordering the same configuration as me, buy the medium sized aeroscaphe container and all should be well.”
