“I was given a 3 month subscription as a gift. It has been a delight each month to choose, from the blurb, a book from a short list of two. It is easy to redeem the giftcard and you can miss a month if you choose to. All my choices have been a good read, arrived beautifully packaged and when one went missing in the post Rare Birds Books sent another copy quickly and efficiently. It has been rather special to be guided towards fiction written by women that i would probably not have been aware of nor tried, I love being introduced to new authors. Great bookshop, great gift. Thankyou!”

“I absolutely love reading but sometimes making time to choose a book is not an easy option (or finding time to read it!) - the monthly email, with a brief outline of the two books given, but without revealing the title or author for me is an excellent way of picking out a book. I would say 90% of the books I chosen have been excellent, a diverse range, and mainly very well written and well worth reading.”
