The delivery itself was excellent. The bed arrived just two days after ordering, which was impressive. The driver also called around 30 minutes before delivery to check someone was in, which I appreciated. The price was another positive. £252 for a large single bed with two drawers, including a mattress, is very good value. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The company sent me the wrong colour bed. I ordered silver, which is a light grey, but received steel, which is a much darker grey. This was their mistake. The reason this is a one star review is the customer service, or rather the complete lack of it. The website claims this is a family run business with friendly customer service available by phone, email, or in person, seven days a week, with UK based after sales support. My experience does not match these claims at all. The after sales phone option (option 3) simply rings out and then cuts off. I tried calling over a dozen times across two days. The only option that was ever answered was sales (option 1). I was advised to email help@rapyalstores.co.uk, which I did. After hearing nothing for several days, I called again and was told no email had been received. While still on the phone, I resent the same email and was told it had now come through. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. As a result, I am left with a boxed bed sitting in my office room, waiting for a response that never seems to come. There has been no acknowledgement of their mistake, no apology, and no offer to replace the bed, which is the bare minimum I would expect. Given the continued lack of response, I am now considering contacting the Furniture and Home Improvements Ombudsman (FHIO) and/or my credit card provider to pursue a full refund. Had they apologised and arranged an exchange, this would have been a four star review. Had the correct colour been delivered in the first place, it would have been five stars. Sadly, neither happened. After reading other reviews, it is clear I am not alone in experiencing poor customer service. I would urge others to think carefully before buying.

I ordered a Trudel bed with mattress on 2nd January 2026, delivered on 6th January 2026, but the main bed frame was missing. I have contacted the store several times by email and phone with no response. As the order has not been fulfilled and communication has been ignored, I am requesting cancellation and a full refund under UK consumer rights. I look forward to this being resolved urgently.

Very disappointing services. Placed an order and money was taken only to told via email 3 days later the fireplace was no longer in stock. I ordered a second fireplace that cost more. I paid the difference and yet again was told that that second fireplace was not in stock. I then proceeded to cancel the order but nearly a month on - I have only received a partial refund and now can’t get the company on the telephone - I have emailed and the response is no apology or a way resolving the issue. They don’t address the issue only to tell me the opening times. I would never purchase from this company again. Such a hassle and get nothing from it just wasted it.

Terrible company to deal with! Purchased a bed in January that is not suitable and needs to be returned. After calling them I was told to email as they only deal with emails which I did and have followed up several times to no avail. I have made another several calls and I either cant get through or have been fobbed off

Tried to purchase Gas Fire online...paid for item but received e mail saying price was wrong and my money was refunded. Beware when buying online as they refund then put price of item up to get more money from you. BEWARE!!!

Complete and utter sham but I guess you get what you pay for - cheap rubbish. Not only were one of the bases damaged, turns out the headboard was also damaged (reported to Rapyal and received no response). Even the advertised mattress, is not what I received. I ordered the Ghost Beds Black Leather Divan Bed with Unique Leather Memory Collection Mattress, 20Inch Headboard. Retro & Vintage Range. As mentioned, the Unique Leather Memory Collection Mattress is not what arrived in my order. I paid £319.00 for the divan set plus an extra £50 for their so called 'Premium Service', which is payment for 2 men (only one man came) delivering the divan set to my room of choice. Had they removed and taken away the packaging, I would have seen the damage and noticed that the mattress was not the correct one. I would definitely not recommend your company to anyone and now wish I had gone with the negative reviews you had already received, rather than giving you the benefit of the doubt. I will also be leaving a public review, due to the fact that no one from Rapyal aka Home Furnishings UK, has bothered to make contact, to at least try and offer some sort of recompense or agreeable solution to make things right.

Stay away from This company they are a scammer. The quality of the items is horrible and the customer service is terrible. They’re stealing your money after you paid them ٫they will have no communication with you! Think before using them

Company took money for fire. Then 2 weeks later said the fire was no longer available. No explanation for long delay. Had to shop elsewhere

Not what I ordered bed is totally different to photograph on website the mattress and headboard are not what is shown poor quality .It's poorly made and definitely not worth the £370 I spent on it .Very deceptive

Purchased bed in March 2024 by the end of the Sept 2024 mattress is not fit for purpose. I contacted company to be told I could not have a replacement as it was over the 30 days. They did advise that I could send the mattress back to them at my own expense so they could check the mattress. This would cost me more than the mattress is worth. I have had to buy a replacement mattress. Very disappointed

Don't know how Rapyal Stores are still in business! Fire never delivered in spite of order confirmations - no reply to my 2 following emails to chase up and impossible to get anyone on phone as they never pick up. HOPELESS!

I did not get the product I was expecting and after several attempts to contact them there were no response from Raphael Stores. Their customer service number is not working neither the messages sent in their website or WhatsApp messages are working. I need to resolve this problem and I don’t know how to get in contact with them…! Unfortunately I’m disappointed with that lack of support from them.

Just awful. Do not spend money with this company. The mattress they sent me looked nothing like the one on the website. I have tried to contact the company to get them to fix it: emails go unanswered, the phone number just goes straight to voicemail. Do not use this company.

My order was due on the 5th August. I am still waiting for the delivery. It’s now the 12th August. I have phoned the company 3 times and no one ever returns my call. Very poor customer service and totally unprofessional.

brought a gas fire they sent the wrong colour. then sent a scratched one.then we asked for money back but refused.and was very rude a woman name amy.making things up.i had to get my back of the bank dont shop here its a junk shop.

Had a Trundell bed delivered only one person delivered it was going to leave it on my doorstep had to get neighbours to come and help me get it upstairs if someone could have phoned me in advance to say only driver in van I could have arranged for help to be there never known a del to not have 2 people in van to deliver goods was very disappointed with delivery

I bought a bed a week ago, when I received the bed with incomplete stuff, the bed I had ordered was supposed to be a black bed and they brought a cream one! I called to confirm this and the operator LIED that they had emailed me to ask for the pictures of the bed, WHY do I have to send pictures of a bed that was wrongly dispatched and they can look it up into their system ? This is the worst experience I’ve ever experienced with any company in the UK! Don’t buy from these guys! Total scam!

Ordered for next day delivery, had phone call saying couldn't deliver until the following day. Ordered faux leather bed, received suede effect. Covering underneath bed not properly attached/stapled to base. Delivery drivers, delivered bed and promptly left. Tried to email to inform of above.....No reply
