“I am not sure about a happiness rating as spraying herbicide by hand doesn't measure up to a quiet drink in the Local. However it all did what it said on the tin in a most effective manner. thank you for the really prompt and efficient service it was greatly appreciated and enable me to get on with the jobs nearly immediately. I see from your website you distribute very small weed wipers: is there any chance you manufacture much wider ones whereby mares tail and bracken can be controlled without necessary spraying?”

Thank you for your query ref: weedwipers. We supply two types of microwipe and we can also source a double-headed weedwiper. Unfortunately we have not tested Kurtail Gold through this equipment so cannot vouch for its effectiveness as spraying remains the most effective method of controlling horsetail – a really tricky, invasive weed. For larger scale areas there are some UK manufacturers of wipes that can be towed behind a quad bike….

“After quite some time waiting for dry weather I treated the mare tail, which had taken over a part of my allotment making it impossible to use. Mixing the solution as per instructions on your site I sprayed early one morning before work, three days later the lush green color had gone out of the mares tail. One week on and it has all turned brown in color, if correct in another 2 weeks it will turn black. I am not working that patch of land this year, so will not disturb the soil but wait to see if any new growth of mares tail shows and will spot spray. Everything I had tried to do to get rid of this weed had made matters worse, it looks as if Curtail is the answer.”

“Ordered and received the product in the timescale they stated. Once I found the dosage to use, I covered the area of mares tails and sore results within a few days of dry weather”

“Received my order of Kurtail Gold and went to attack my back garden which was infested with Mare's Tail. Instructions for dosage were not very clear if using over a small area, had to phone Progreen to get correct dosage. Sprayed over infested area and found the Mare's Tail dying off within 24 hrs, I was very impressed, I hope this is a good sign, only time will tell”

“We are very impressed with the kurtail gold weedkiller we bought from your company, it started to work very quickly within a few days of applying it to rid our property of mares /horse tails weed which is extremely difficult to get rid of. nothing else we tried got rid of it.we would highly recommend it”
