“Checked with the company first if they could diagnose a child of 5. Received conformation they could. Paid the fee. Unethical to diagnose under 6 was result. Not Unethical to take my money, then ask for another £900 to ensure a possibility of a diagnosis. Report had loads of errors in, promised to send updated version, never received it.”

However, as part of our clinical process, we take a cautious approach when assessing younger children, as diagnoses at this age require careful consideration. In this case, additional factors, including the child's background, were taken into account. Based on clinical judgment, it was determined that addressing other concerns first would be the most appropriate course of action before confirming the diagnosis your child was assessed for. The report did contain an identified error, which was acknowledged and a corrected version was promised.
