Overall experience was very positive. I was very happy with the flat and Portland Brown was extremely fast to respond to any issue I run by them. There were a couple of issues with the flat during my 2-month-long stay, but Portland Brown did everything in their power to help resolve them quickly.

The stay has been good in general. I have two complains regarding the specific apartment that I got (apartment 18). There is no reception to make phone calls using my mobile phone (O2), there is a very bad Internet signal and reception. It would be great if you can improve that, otherwise it is impossible to work at home, for example. Another solution is to assign those poor connected apartments to people on holidays and assigned well connected apartments to professionals (like myself). Regards.

Hi Laura, Thanks for your feedback. I have reviewed your account with us and can see that you did have an issue with the internet which was a fault with the BT configuration for the router. Unfortunately these faults do occur on occasion however I believe reconfiguring the router this was addressed. I am sorry that the O2 signal was not strong enough. We do have devices that can boost mobile phone signals in certain situations which may have resolved this issue when you were in house had we of known. The flat was really nice furnitured and minor issues with the furniture or the facilities were solved really quick. All staff at Portfland Brown was friendly and helpful. I especially want to emphasize that the cleaning ladies did a great job!

Everything was great, apartment nice and if any problem occurred it would be fixed really fast. The only disappointment was the internet connection, which was quite low and unstable.

We stayed in three apartments, but most of the stay was 102 37 Cock Lane. Generally wife found the service personnel extremely willing and polite. The cleaning team was also very good. However, general maintenance was poor, the dishwasher virtually unusable, the sink leaked, the loo brushes broke, but instead of replacing they were 'Jerry' mended and broke again. The security system had to be dismantled in the middle of the night and the street door bell never worked and despite notification was never mended.

The stay was perfect, your staff was amazing and always very helpful. My only issue is that I lost water for a week which made my stay more difficult. I understand that it was not your fault, but I believe the situation could have been handled better.

My experience with Portland Brown was great. The one piece of feedback is that the bed was too hard for my liking but that is a very individual preference! Other than that, everything was wonderful. The apartment as in great condition, a great location and well kept during the entirety of my stay.

Very good location, very comfortable flat, good service. A bit noisy outside, due to closeness to Victoria Couch Station. Busses park in front of the building and keep the engine running. So this is a bit of inconvenience but other than that all good.

Good stay - I stayed in Apartment 6 at Sir John Lyon house - apartment was high specs, furnishings were comfortable, and requests responded to quickly and completed to high satisfaction - such as the sprucing up of the fridge and attending to the extraction fan issue. 1 thing for improvement - Within the Sir John Lyon House building, phone reception was poor - i had no signal at all on my O2 mobile, and even the house mobile phone provided on the EE network had patchy signal at best. I particularly commend the cleaning team on the 17th and 24th September. They did such a fantastic job. Please keep up the good work! Best regards, Jan Yeo

Generally good service, provided an umbrella upon request and also mail service after my check out. Two small points, upon my check in at 7am in the morning staff was not there at the apartment yet and since I do not have a phone I was waiting outside uncertain whether the staff would come. Also during my last week of stay, the house cleaning did not come and no explanation was given despite me raising this via email.

I have investigated your arrival with us and can see that we had confirmed a check-in time of 7.30am with yourself; I hope you were not made to wait any later than this but if this was the case please do let me know. We have over 65 locations across London and as a result rely on remote members of staff to welcome our guests. I apologise if us not being onsite at the earlier time caused you any concern. In regards to the cleaning in your final week, I have spoken to our Housekeeping Team and this appears to be an error on their part but there is no excuse for us not to reply to your email and I can only apologise. The staff was accommodating when I needed to switch my start date and found me another apartment in a different location. They were responsive to my messages and calls. The weekly housekeeping was always to our satisfaction. The welcome pack was a nice touch at the start of our stay.
