“I ordered a connector and a spare liner from Plumbing Supplies Direct at the weekend. Just in case, I put in an order at the same time with another supplier for a different brand. The Plumbing Supplies Philmac connector was delivered on Tuesday and I fitted it the same day. It is a lovely robust connection and a successful sealed joint. A day later the other supplier emailed to say they were getting ready to despatch the item. I told them they were too late and the order was cancelled. It just goes to show that, even though my order was small, they gave me the best attention, and I appreciate that.”

“Very disappointed to find that the valve was not new but used. It looked like it had just been removed from an old system and was filthy. Even after giving it a good clean, I can't trust that it is usable so It has gone straight in the bin.”

“I paid extra for a Saturday delivery. The delivery people decided to delivery it on Monday, when no one was on site. They didn't leave a card, so no one knew they had attempted delivery, and until I contacted them on the following Thursday, I had received no communication from them whatsoever. The person I spoke to on the phone had to check multiple times to find out what had happened, and where my parcel was, and finally, I had to go to the collection point where it had been left, with my ID. The correct part did arrive, which is the reason why I've given them 2 stars rather than 1.”
