“Overall very happy with the product. It's small enough to not bother our cat and easy to adjust for his neck size. It's not yet once fallen off after a few months of use and is great for seeing where he has been. The only one criticism would be the option for when your first starting out to have the ability to keep Active Search mode on indefinitely and for it to disable on very low battery. This would help to build up a good picture of where your cat has been. But overall, it's fantastic!”

“Pet Tracer is absolutely brilliant. We got it for our cat after he went missing for 18 hours. It’s accurate, easy to use and we can see exactly where he’s been so he won’t be missing again. Easy to monitor and charge and it’s so lightweight our cat who already wears a flea collar doesn’t notice it. Wonder what we ever did without it before!!”

“We (myself and Arlo the cat) have been using petTracer for just over a month now. It provides reassurance to me that I know where he is especially as he is a young cat exploring the outside world for the first time. The size of the collar means it isn't too heavy or bulky for him and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. It is very easy and quick to charge. When I need to use the find mode it is normally very accurate. Although he never normally strays far!”

“Very good, we haven’t lost our cat since taking the petTracer. Lost the collar though a couple of times but found it again with amazing accuracy which is reassuring. The only criticism is that it is a bit bulky for our small cat.”

“product very reliable, the 4 times one of my cats has lost the collar after using over a year, we've managed to get it back. location of the cats is quite accurate, however the 1/2 mile radius stated is not accurate. the collar works great locally. only feature missing is a cat at home when entering the wi-fi area or aerial vecinity, that would be quite useful”

“Our cat wears her collar when she goes outside. We find it reassuring being able to track her - especially as we have moved house recently. It’s interesting to build up a picture of her territory and to see how far she roams (which isn’t very far at the moment!) Gives us great peace of mind when our cat is out and about as we know what scrapes cats can get into! Our previous cat got locked in a shed for a few days - if she’d been wearing a collar we’d have been able to find her. (Thankfully she was found by chance but the collar would have saved her and us three days of stress!)”

“Unser 1jähriger Kater trägt das Pettracer-Halsband seit 1 Jahr, deshalb konnte er auch schon so jung herum strolchen. “We bought PetTracer because 2 of our cats are too small for other makes of tracker but we're disappointed. For getting a general sense of where they hang out its ok. The battery life is ok. I've been putting off leaving a review because I don't want to be negative but it seems that it doesn't take much for there to be no available signal so there can be very long gaps in knowing where the cats are. The whole rigmarole of making the home station mobile is a massive hassle and doesn't always work in our very ordinary neighbourhood. So now one of my cats is missing and there's no signal, no recent update and we are frustrated and despondent. Small detail - the coloured tape for the collars doesn't stick on well and gets very worn quickly. What should have brought us peace of mind and kept our cat safe has done neither.”

“Set up was straightforward although not clear why the need to instal to PC/MAC when the mobile App is the more useful platform to use. Generally, the location of the cat is fairly reliable although sometimes location points can be a bit rogue and off the patch. That said over the course of a number of hours you get a good picture of broadly where the cat is. The fluorescent bands we bought both came off in a matter of days so these need rethinking. We’ve bought an entire roll on Amazon for considerably less money! Also had to re glue the inner rubber reduction band as the adhesive didn’t last long. Sometimes the app logs out for no reason and it won’t log on again until you get back to near the station. A good addition would be a beeper. This would help locating a lost collar which we had to do. The location wasn’t quite where the App said it was. A beep would have saved us a couple of hours! Sorry lots of gripes. But customer service is excellent. Email only but all queries and questions have been answered promptly and professionally and personally written - no cut and paste, all friendly and supportive. There is no phone or live chat so don’t know why that is an option below?”

“Excellent, useful device. Had one for well over a year now and can highly recommend it. The chances of finding your cat with this collar are so much higher than without it. The battery life, low radiation, GPS and radio tracking set this apart from other options. Some things missing to make it perfect: the most notable missing thing is an option to have the collar beep, this would make tracking far, far more effective. Lower profile collar would be better too, without the big bump. An auto alert if the cat goes a certain distance away would be useful too. If those could be implemented this would be the perfect product. Without those it's still a very good product and I can thoroughly recommend it. 4.5/5”

“Purchased collar didn't work properly from onset then completely stopped working said they were sending new one out but still haven't received yet !!!! Luckily our cat came back when it stopped working. Terrible product that hasn't been tested properly stay away !!!”

“These guys are the best when it comes to tracker collars for cats, I’ve had them for a over a good year now and the customer service is next to none 5 stars 🥇I can track my cats with the app on my phone no problems and if they ever go missing for a while I have used it to track them down and I’ve found my cats every time with it. If you love your pets and want to know where they are this system is top dog!!!!”

“Having previously lost a much-loved cat some years ago, I was reluctant to let my two young male cats out without a tracking device. After extensive research, I invested in PetTracer collars for them both. Unlike other products on the market, the collars are light-weight, slim-line, gps/radio tracking system that is safe for animals, and with a long battery-life (up to a month power). I can monitor their movements, detectable inside buildings as well as outdoors, which brings peace of mind, knowing that if either of them becomes trapped inside a shed/outhouse/property, they can be easily located. For location in the dark, a light can be activated remotely on the collar. PetTracer is a first-class product, well-worth the investment!”

“I bought the Pettracer after our cat went missing and was found shut in a neighbour's garage. Having the Pettracer gives us more peace of mind as we now know the range of the cat's daily adventures and we know we have a very good chance of finding him if something goes wrong. Setting up the device is a bit complicated but stick to the step by step instructions and you'll get there. The collar looks a bit cumbersome but it's lightweight and doesn't seem to bother the cat at all. We've had the Pettracer about 6 weeks. The collar got lost once. I don't understand how it came off the cat but it did give me the chance to try the radio tracking function for real and it did the trick.”

“I have had my PetTracer collar for a couple of years now, this has been such a godsend as I worry about my pets and these do give you the peace of mind that you know they're not far from home. We recently adopted an additional cat, after the usual keeping him in we did let him out with his collar on, and it avoided the worry of him getting lost. If you're thinking about purchasing this collar I would highly recommend using this company. If you have any questions or help regarding your subscription the support team are so so helpful and will respond back to you very quickly. Highly highly recommended.”

“We were looking for a good tracker for our outdoor kitty and this one is great. It has both GPS and radio signal tracking, which was very important for us - I'm sure everyone who owns a smartphone knows that GPS is not always the most reliable, and the backup of the radio connection is great for peace of mind. We also very much appreciate that the tracker has a release clasp - important for any cat collar. We are lucky enough to never have had our cat get lost, but the tracker still gives us peace of mind - we can see where he goes, and know, for example, that he is nowhere near any busy roads and usually stays nearby. Even if he has been out for a couple of hours, a quick check on the tracker tells us he is nearby, so we don't have to worry. All in all a fantastic tracker, and also great customer service - if you need any help or advice. they are always there and quick to respond - would really recommend”

“The delivery times were weeks longer than you'd expect. I found the emails and guidance very disjointed, with the overall process of getting a subscription and adding the base station etc very complicated. A poor user journey.”
