“Brilliant technology. Our cat kept going missing for days at a time, and now we can see exactly where she goes. It turns out she stays in an old abandoned house, so if it wasn't for the radio signal too we still wouldn't have been able to track her with gps alone. Customer support are also extremely efficient.”

“This has given me confidence to allow my rescue cat outside. He was a stray so I was very concerned he’d wander again and get lost. The GPS readings are not perfect but they have been helpful enough to make me start calling him in the right general direction and so far so good. I would like to stress it takes a cat that has probably never worn a collar a while to adjust and I nearly sent it back after the first couple of attempts. It needs to be tighter than I imagined to stop him mouthing it and getting his jaw stuck but my main tip would be to try an incredibly light soft collar with safety release for a few days first. This was the solution for us. I now put the pet Tracer collar on him when he’s eating and he lets me. Also don’t attach a bell or disc initially incase that frightens them. I’ve now sewn on the cat flap magnet to the short quick release fabric part rather than use a link incase he puts his claws through it. So the adjustment can take a while but if you do it in stages it should succeed! I’d be much more worried if he wasn’t wearing it.”

“We have had a petTracer collar from it's beginning so I've used it with 3 cats over the years. The collar has become much more user friendly over this time. Some of the best things i like about PetTracer are that: it's made specifically for cats; it's very lightweight yet also a powerful way to keep track of your cat; the ease of use in terms of charging and day to day use of the collar; there is no mobile phone signal near your cat's head; if your cat goes missing there are now powerful ways to search and these are backed-up by great support to help you in any search. From the very early times when we used PetTracer, I have really liked how, over time, it builds up and shows you the habits of your cat, such as where they go at which time of day; my cats are very much in a pattern so I see them doing almost the same thing at the exact same time each day. This brings peace of mind, that things are good with my cat. She is totally happy wearing her collar. When I'm away from the house I can see where she is and that's a lovely feeling. Oh...did I mention also....the support from the petTracer people is fabulous...they understand how important your cat is to you and always help. Now with the new version 2 collar, the whole experience has got even better.”

“The collar is not very good for tracking day-to-day and getting an idea of your cat's territory. The GPS is not very accurate and it often shows our cat as across the road when we know she's asleep on our sofa. The collar is good size and not too bulky. The charge doesn't last a particularly long time so we've now set it to slow mode and we'll probably only use it if there's an emergency and we need to locate her. Overall, it's good for peace of mind, but it is extremely expensive so it depends how much you're willing to pay for peace of mind! If you're interested in seeing your cat's everyday movements, I wouldn't recommend it as it's not been very accurate in creating a territory map, even on fast mode.”

“I love my petTracer collar and app. It really has given me peace of mind. I use to be a proper crazy cat lady, but now I just open the app and see where my boy is. The collar is comfortable for my cat, and he doesn’t seem to mind wearing it. I would never go back to the crazy cat lady days. Thank you petTracer.”

“We have been using petTracer for our cat, who loves going out at night in the fields. We were worried she would stray away too far and risk going onto the road. With petTracer we now know where she is and is has brought great peace of mind. It works flawlessly and it's worth every penny.”

“Verwenden Pettracer seit 2019 , System ist grundsätzlich gut , die Ortung ist nur im Bereich des empfangenen Wlan möglich ! Reicht aber bei den meisten Katzen . Schade , Suche mit Mobiler Station ist sehr Umständlich und funktioniert schlecht , auch bei der neuen Station 2.0 ! Ein Ausführliches Deutsches Video dazu Wo genau gezeigt wird was wie aufgeschaltet werden muss ist Nötig für 2.0 ! Wir haben es bis heute nicht einrichten können !!”

“We lost a very much loved cat called Lemon and searched our neighbourhood day and night for months, scrolling all lost and found pages with no success. She was microchipped and a collar with name tags but it was not enough to find her. We have taken in a wee stray Tia and after she was spayed we have our pet tracer which has proved to be such a reassurance and gives us some peace of mind when she is out and about.The accuracy of the GPS is outstanding and the quality of the collar and battery life fantastic. We definitely rate this a 5+ out of 5”

“We've had the system a week, two collars have fallen off our cats, one on a neighbours patio, so the 'safety buckle' clearly isn't robust enough to cope even with device self-weight. The other cannot be found seeing as the homestation refuses to hotspot off any of the mobile phones in the house. We've taken the third collar off and replaced it with the previous system because we simply cannot trust PetTracer to provide anything that resembles the claims made on the website. This is over six hundred pounds of expenditure to place our cats at greater risk than the previous system which was *Airtags*. The LEDs are necessarily weak as they are shining through the elastomer encapsulation of the collar and anturally sit underneath the ca's throat, and the alarms can barely be heard standing in the same room. I don't know if this is second-source issue from having to race to resupply inventory given the demand, but none of these problems shoudl ever have escaped QA inspection prior to sale. I'd already communicated with the compnay support email address on the day of receipt because we couldn't get at least one collar alram to sound via the phone application, despite the application claiming it was sounding. Customer service claimed they could activate the alarm remotely but they did not sound. This was reiterated when contacting them about the lost collar and the inability to get a consistent signal via RF for it. I simply cannot trust the product.”

“Disappointing product. The location is not very precise. When our cat is home it often shows as if he's in the field next door. When I try and change the tracking frequency to live mode it takes forever to change and load. And overall, it gives you more of an idea of where your cat might be rather than an actual location. It's also very disappointing that for the price the adjustment band is too long and my cat ended up nibbling on it and being annoyed by it; when I asked PetTracer they suggested I cut it with scissors and burn it so it doesn't unravel. Having paid that much money for the tracker I would have expected they would have thought about this ahead and foreseen that people might need different adjustment bands. Customer service is fast and they respond but they're not very helpful, don't seem to care about animals and have failed to offer concrete solutions to my issues. The instructions they send are confusing and there's a mismatch between what's sent in the emails and what's in the box and what's on their website. It wasn't easy to set up at all. It also wasn't clearly mentioned that you need a battery pack to power the station if you need to use it as a mobile station with your phone as a hotspot in case you need to unplug it and move to a different location to find your cat. Again, for the price they charge I would have expected they would have provided that or at least made it clear that this is something extra you need to get. Overall, very disapoointed and I will not renew my subscription because of the above flaws and poor customer service.”

“A briliant way to calm my nerves when Pud has gone roaming through the neighbourhood. I can follow his tracks via my computer and go 'down the road' to call him home. Always works and prompts my neighbours to let him out of their house! Love it and would suggest all cat owners get this collar - IT WORKS.”

“I have used pettracer for a good while and it works fine, it is light and fits Thomas, a large Tabby fine. I use it in 'normal mode' and the battery lasts about 4 - 5 days when I charge it up over nigth. The collar is fairly easy to take off and put back on.”

“We have used two collars for nearly a year now on our two Ragdolls. We haven't had to use them yet for lost cats but we did use them once to find a collar that one of the cats had dislodged. It was nearly 15cm accurate to where the collar had dropped. The customer service has always been outstanding and any requests or asks for help have been dealt with very quickly and an outstanding level of care and after sales support.”

“PetTracer is a fantastic product. It gives me complete peace of mind, when my cat is out exploring. Recently we couldn’t find our cat, but the Tracer App was showing her to be in a neighbour’s house. The neighbour hadn’t seen her. After investigation, my cat was found asleep, under the neighbour’s bed and could easily have got locked in. She had entered through a small open window. This shows how brilliantly PetTracer works!”

“Our cat Smokey loves to wonder amd explore. Sometimes his adventures take him far from the house. PetTracer gives us his precise location, without fail. Last month, Smokey got locked in our neighbours' garage. We knew exactly where to look for him when he didn't come home. PetTracer is easy to use, battery lasts long, it doesn't seem to annoy Smokey, the buckle is reliable. We are very happy with it, thank you!”

“Very pleased with the petTracer collar. We live in a rural area with no mobile phone service so most trackers will not work here. This works very well, giving accurate locations and it's fun to track where Nanook has been and how far he has travelled. The company has great customer support as well.”

“Absolutely brilliant. We have been amazed by the information we now get daily. Because we failed to clip it properly one night, it fell off, but it was located exactly the next morning. Highly recommend.”
