Terrible. The device worked once set up for 2 hours, after this it completely lost gps and wouldn’t even connect to the mobile network let alone the gps! When it did work gps was well out - my partner took the collar out to check prior to putting it on the cat. It showed the collar was ‘outside the geofence’ which it wasn’t anywhere near! This lead to false panic a fair few times!! Emailed the company and it took about 9days after them receiving the item back before they decided to refund it. Complete joke - useless, the cats are now out without it and I have less worry as I am not constantly told they are on a main road when this is not the case. AVOID.

Been using the petTracer collar for just over a month. I’ve found it to be accurate and gives me piece of mind knowing where my cat is. Online support has been excellent and setting the collar up a straight forward process. I bought the reflective strip and inlay band as my cat is small. My cat wears the collar with no problems. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing a tracking collar.

We lost our cat for 48 hrs so decided to buy petTracer collars for them both. It is a bit of a faff to set up if you are not very tec savvy The support via email was great for every start up question . We definitely fully 100% recommend the collars it’s a massive help to be able to track them and be able to relax

Very good product as long as you keep it well charged. We lost the collar once but a neighbour returned it - keep it well secured on the cat. We haven’t used the search feature yet but very reassuring to know where our Simba goes!

This tracker is better than high-end satellite trackers because of its 'always on' Radio Frequency (RF) proximity tracking facility. For peace of mind, the collar's proximity signal is tracked by the RF receiver. Therefore, I highly recommend this tracker for house cats. The customer service is quality.

A cracking tracer. We had one from another provider which, to be fair was rubbish and the batteries would last a day and a half at best. Then we found pettracer. The battery lasts for days, and even though Pip has popped the collar off a couple of times, it's easy to locate with the radio signal, it's usually within a couple of metres of its location on the app. If you're thinking of buying one of these, just do it

PetTracer gives you reassurance that should the unthinkable happen, and you pet goes missing, there is a chance you’ll be able to find it.

I have two wayward Bengal crosses and after one of them went on a 4 day adventure that felt like a gap year,I got PetTracer for both of them. Not only is it interesting bordering on obsession creating monitoring their territories and how they evolve, but it means I can always check in on their whereabouts, and sometimes,if necessary, go and find/rescue them. We live in an urban area and I decided to let them go outside, but roads are terrifying, and sometimes so are foxes and other cats. This feels like a compromise that doesn't crush their spirit but allows me to keep tabs. The only reasons I'm not giving this the full 5 stars-are that the cost is a lot,and the coverage isn't perfect - and we have yet to be able to make the radio function for portable tracking work - but in terms of feeling close to them at all times, and being able to find them when it's time to come home, Pet Tracer is a brilliant investment.

Excellent customer service, very helpful advice and explanation. I researched several options before choosing PetTracer and I am glad I did. Our boy disappears regularly for days at a time and now we know his territory and that he is mostly over at the neighbours farm. It did take me a while to fully understand the way the collar works and why/how Diggle could be home and the last gps signal was still showing him as away - which is until the next communication with the collar. It didn't concern Diggle to get used to wearing the collar even as a semi-feral. I will say the catch is not a safety catch as I cannot pull it open without unclasping, so I fit it quite loose and we did lose it once, but of course were able to go mobile with the base station and find the collar in a field of peas which was a good test. The metal keeper on the fabric part of the collar was too big and useless so I removed it and stitched the spare end down which worked well. The battery lasts a good week on fast and the reminder by email that the battery is getting low is very useful. An alert of some kind when the collar/your cat comes back into range would give greater peace of mind I think. Overall I am very pleased with the PetTracer.

Having researched many cat collars I came to the conclusion I wanted GPS and radio tracking enter petTracer. I took the 2 year option which suits me. I can honestly say this is worth its wait in gold just for the peace of mind of knowing my cats location at any one time. I am on my 2nd collar as the first one failed but this is where customer service comes into play it was very easy to get in contact with them and had a replacement within a week well done petTracer.

I would like to thank Pet tracer for helping me relocate both my cats. One went missing today for eleven hours. Zoe answered every email question promptly and sympathetically. I have seen other reviews having a go at pet tracers range and capabilities and to be fair i was beginning to doubt the thing was working. But with the patient help from the team all came good. My problem was more with the iphone 13 i was using connecting to the base station when i went mobile. My only criticism would be they need to make some youtube videos of how to set up a search with iphones and android, just so you can copy and make sure you have set up everthing right. Other than that i would highly recommend pet tracer to anyone.

I cannot recommend the PetTracer product and their customer service enough. Long story short, we found our blind, 13 month old kitty, Mei, hiding in the engine of a car about half a mile away due to the PetTracer collar having been missing for over 12 hours. I genuinely think she'd have been lost forever without it. Not only that, Anna, from PetTracer, who was helping us with settings remotely as we searched for Mei, was compassionate, helpful and engaged throughout the entire day we were searching for her. Mei's collar wasn't picking up satellites as (unbeknownst to us at the time) she was surrounded by engine block but we took the home station out and used it as a mobile unit and it gave us enough of a radio signal (finally!) to locate her. We live in the countryside and there's a lot of space to search hence the time it took to locate her. The location isn't alway 100% accurate, as some people have said, BUT we know where to start looking for them if they don't come home. The collars are also bulky (although light) for small cats but our don't even seem to notice they're wearing them. Perhaps the collars wouldn't work so well in a very built up area but for me, in the middle of nowhere, they're great.

Our cat, Marmalade, kept staying away from home for many, many hours. Pet tracer now lets us see where he's gone and gives us peace of mind that he's not shut in somewhere. The radiotracer is an excellent addition allowing us the trace him if he's inside a building and the GPS signal fails.

For cats who don't roam that far but who get themselves shut in other people's houses, shed and garages, petTracer is a godsend. I've tracked our cats down to locked garages, to gardens where they have been having a stand-off with another cat and safely retrieved them when they have crossed the busy main road nearby. I've managed to locate and retrieve lost collars (which at the price is a VERY good thing!) It gives me confidence that they are safe edven when they're out of sight.

Having petTracer gives pet owners peace of mind in the knowledge that their pets can be accurately located when they go missing.

in all honesty i expected more for the price, i think the app is very poorly made and you aren’t able to see exactly where your cat has been there is no live tracking either and i think for the price i paid there should definitely be more to the app. The only positive part about the tracker is that the collar itself stays on well.

I can't speak highly enough of PetTracer. I tried a couple of other GPS trackers, but the short battery life was problematic or the accuracy of the GPS not great. PetTracer collars can go uncharged for at least 48hrs, whilst pinging the cats' location every 10 minutes. It helped find and rescue our 7 month old kitten who was missing and found pinned in a corner of a garage roof by a neighbouring aggressive cat and too scared to move. It's also helps get the 2 kittens in on warm nights by pin pointing exactly where they are so we know where to find them. The customer service has been excellent. From responding to emails on a Friday evening when first setting up the collars, to double checking that they were working properly. The collars fit both kittens well, an additional padded spacer being needed for the smaller one, but both don't seem to notice them at all. Overall PetTracer offers complete peace of mind that we know the cats are safe and well, and if they do ever get lost or trapped in somewhere we can find them. Thank you very, very much.
